Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    How did that go tmo...

Did the AR not flag? If not, how can we possibly go back for that?

That's very unfair, and it's downright bad refereeing.

    "The right rugby decision"??

    Correct, that was 100% bull****.

I think that’s code for “I don’t know what to do”

    McBurney is an idiot.

  • Site Banned Posts: 12,341 ✭✭✭✭Faugheen

Zebo absolutely bought that though. He looks right at McBurney

    We have some thick players

Thought that was possibly a yellow, quite deliberate.

That was genuinely thick by McBurney. Seriously.

    THATS ANOTHER FCUKING KNOCK ON

  • Registered Users Posts: 579 ✭✭✭Heymans

Ulster have a handful of good new players in Lowry, Shanahan and Addisson

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

A couple of blown chances there for ulster. Competing very well in this game. Hopefully manage to get the LBP

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,851 ✭✭✭ionadnapokot

In fairness Ulster put together some excellent phases there. Got around and through the Racing defense with some great lines of running

    Ulster look very tired.

Have to say player awareness in general is poor - not looking for options, and lads just pinning their ears.

Ulster a match for Racing here otherwise.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,300 ✭✭✭✭razorblunt

    Paris on for Racing.

Carrick Fergus warming up for Ulster.

Another blown opportunity. Addison has looked very lively

According to ultimate rugby, Ulster have had 4,000 handling errors so far this game.

Coetzee was wrecked trying to stay with Lowry

FFS Ulster could have had 2 or 3 more tries out there. Just undone by sloppy handling and stupid mistakes.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,210 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Some good stuff being played but have to agree with Venjur on Ulster's lack of awareness. Gilroy and McCloskey are showing why they aren't selected by Joe more often. In the clinch moments the blinkers go on.

That was a great bit of play from Addison. Made the break, drew the man and passed. It wasn't a good pass and was knocked on, but he showed most of the basics Schmidt is looking for.

    Oh look.

    A knock on.

    Well that was nice.

    Outrageous try.

Lis Burn warming up for Ulster. As is Derry.

    Just Derry. No first name.

    Derry.

Thomas and Zebo bump cocks to celebrate

Zero would have suited playing soccer with his stupid celebrations

You only get better by playing at this level under intense pressure with less time, it's a great experience for them, vital that they play champions cup every year.

    Cristiano Ronaldo's celebration oddly enough.

The remote control plane that carries the kicking tee is great.

That's the only input I have about this game.

  • Administrators Posts: 54,091 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

It’ll be hard to see past a repeat of last years final.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,708 ✭✭✭ScissorPaperRock

Ulster have left at least three tries behind due to simple errors

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 805 ✭✭✭Anthracite

Ulster are really not at the races at this level - not even being able to finish a simple 2 v 1 on the left wing earlier, just poor basics.

  • Registered Users Posts: 966 ✭✭✭Scythica

Dont think the scoreboard reflects the game really.

If only we could hold onto a ball..

Addison has to come into the Ireland conversation asa genuine test starter

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,210 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

I'd love to see Henderson play for a side with a good pack. He's tasked with getting them go forward as well as smashing rucks because noone else can do that. He's actually been decent today despite being part of a very average pack.

    Get him to Leinster.

    Zebo!

  • Registered Users Posts: 966 ✭✭✭Scythica

Or send Healy and Porter up to Ulster??

  • Administrators Posts: 54,091 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

I hope someone absolutely wipes him out

We gave you Nordie to try sort out your backrows issues from last season, don't be greedy.

    Zebo you knob..

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,616 ✭✭✭✭errlloyd

Zebo just gloating and pre try celebrating to a lad on his fourth cap. Joe will looooove that.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,220 ✭✭✭cameramonkey

zebo being zebo, joe says hello goodbye.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,300 ✭✭✭✭razorblunt

What an absolute díck of a thing to do by Zebo.
Made Lowry THAT guy on the poster, completely unnecessary.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,721 ✭✭✭✭Squidgy Black

Zebo's living up to his diva nature alright. Picked the wrong sport it seems.

Is it even possible for an Ulsterman to not be greedy?

Kearney is having injury problems so 15 is your best bet. As good as Addison is at 13 Ringrose is even better.

Dick move by Zebo. Joe was right all along.

    Ok positives..

Really looking forward to seeing the young lads (lowry kernohan) cracking on this season.

If we could hold up a scrum we'd be a force
