He's a prick. Always has been.

Haven't seen Wade play in a while, but he's become even more of a dick than he was before.

His son is 10 weeks old and texted him? Did I hear that right??

He thinks he's fighting WW2 against "the Japs" or something... WTF??

You'd have to wonder if he had some "assistance" tonight?

Wades really gone down in my estimation, got out of jail there and pretty disrespectful to his opponent throughout

    TbL

Same, I've always quite liked him.

Can't wait for him to get smashed by MvG in the QF

Looks like he's off his meds.

    James you're a moron

He’s not the sharpest tool in the box alright but doesn’t he suffer from some disorder?

Nonetheless doesn’t excuse being disrespectfully crass!

He did it for his son and his county. ****ing psycho.

A chance to reflect and apologise and he doubles down on his behaviour.
Since his 10 week old son can text, I'm sure he will also be able to tell him what an embarrassment he was tonight.

What a bizarre interview, even by Wade's standards.

Dare I say it was borderline xenophobic

Bizarre from Wade to do that.

Then to double down in the interview was mad. Doing it for his country!! Wtf is he talking about.

    Muppet behaviour.

Thought that myself. Leaves a bad taste.

I know he's got mental issues but there's no excuse for what he pulled.

Feel sorry for asada. He played great darts and would have been a worthy winner but wade just hung in and got it done.

Seems a bit out of character for Wade, and backed it up with a very strange interview. I know he's had his issues, and he hasn't come across well in interviews etc recently as a result of it, but I'd be a little worried for him based off some of his responses in the interview.

Feel sorry for Asada, thought he deserved to win based on the overall Darts, but as they mentioned timing all important, not just averages.

At a guess I’d say it’s safe to say he voted for Brexit...

Bizarre interview. He has just on up on the prick scale and not in a good way.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,209 ✭✭✭alan partridge aha

I hope James on reflection comes out and makes a fulsome apology to his opponent.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,623 ✭✭✭ThebitterLemon

Wade being a dick aside, I really enjoyed tonight’s darts.

Only saw the last set and thought straightaway something was amiss with him.
After seeing the replay of that crap I def thinks his demons that have sadly damaged him in the past have returned.
That wasn't a man of sound mind out there tonite.

I'm in no way condoning his actions but a small bit of empathy wouldn't go amiss lads.

    Empathy for what exactly?

There's no need to be so disingenuous, as you well know the man has long standing and well publicised mental health issues.
