    So when you said
“Byd are a bigger and more successful manufacturer than over priced Tesla”

    You were telling porkies.

They have sold more vehicles and equipment than Tesla have sold

Top ev seller in China 4 years in a row
Top ev seller in the world 3 years in a row

So no I wasn't telling porkies

You just ignored their sales figures completely.

A busy fool Isn’t necessarily a successful one.

Tesla who produce less cars and have a valuation of 4 tine byd are clearly s more successful and bigger company

This sounds like a Apple versus Samsung argument.

Samsung has far more market share, but Apple has 90% of the profits in the industry.

In reality different focus, both doing well and room for both.

BYD's really success however has been in Electric Buses, they are churning out massive numbers of those and even getting orders for those all over the world, unlike their cars.

Depends on the margin a 15k cars that costs 5 to build has more profit than a 90k car that costs 81k to build...example only. Tesla are loosing money hand over fist, they admit that openly, its only this weird cult mentality and fanboi culture that keep the stock price up....and that pretty volitile at the moment.

If people are buying into then they are successful.

Could be argued that the one who is not bright is the one betting against Tesla in favour of BYD....
Outside of China they are unknown, what happens when the chinese economy crashes. Tesla are building a factory in China, would anticipate they will grow in China too once that's online.

Tesla are losing money. Byd are making money

Warren buffet owns 10% of byd. They are not busy fools

    Yet again
4 years in a row the highest ev sales in China
3 years in a row the highest ev sales in the world

China's 2025 plan wants 75% of all vehicles on the road to be home built EVs
That is alot of cars. Byd is affordable in comparison to Tesla. More volume and less cost.

Byds highest spec ev cost less than half of Tesla's lowest price car.
Add in buses and commercial vehicles to possible sales

Unfortunately your accusations seem to demonstrably prove your insult should be levied closer to home,

    I’m not ignoring the sales

You said they were bigger , but they have a market value of 1/4 Teslas. So I wouldn’t call them bigger.

You say they are more successful,
Yes they are selling more cars( in a market with less stringent safety requirements) but yet they have a market value of 1/4 of Tesla’s.

You say people want Tesla’s. So in my opinion that makes them more successful

Tesla are building a factory in China and will do well, in a country if over a billion people there’s a lot of people who can afford Tesla’s
How does the BYD spec match Tesla’s?

And why do the BYD concentrate solely (pretty much) on the chinese market? Cheaper to make, less safety requirements perhaps?
Just to put a different slant on this argument, it's not going to remain so advantageous for BYD in the domestic CN market when Tesla have their own factories tehre.

Pretty much why Chinese ICE cars don’t sell outside china.

The price range is affordable to many people therefore more sales. Tesla is not.
There are 1.4 Billion people in China.
Huge market. Highest ev selling manufacturer in China 4 years in a row and in the world 3 years in a row.
Tesla too expensive for the average person. Less sales.
The average household can afford to buy byd.
1.4 billion people. 75% of China's national fleet to be electric and homebuilt by 2025. Warren buffet didn't buy 10% of the company last November for nothing.

I keep repeating myself hoping some of you get it into your heads. Laters

There are good reasons why we don't see Chinese cars en masse in Europe.
    Their safety standards are appalling.

Chinese people can buy local clones of western cars, but they often get the dealers to replace the badges with the Western versions out of embarrassment
