Serious shot once again from Koepka. Very impressive play

That big jock Koepka has it. Scott and Woods are sh1tting pants now

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,161 ✭✭✭OEP

He will also be only the 6th person to win 3 majors before 28 I think. This generation is definitely much deeper in talent.

Shame Tiger couldn't have made it a bit more interesting. Off to bed...

Kopeka if he wins will have 4 pga tour wins. Bizarre thing is that it would be 3 majors. Andy Bean I think won 3 pga tournaments with 2 being majors.

Angel cabrara, 3 PGA wins, 2 majors.

    Andy North was another one.

3 PGA tour wins with two of them being US Opens.

Woods is a remarkable competitor. Some achievement to get back to this level considering the back issues he's had.

  • Registered Users Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

Cracking round from Tiger. Phenomenal effort considering he wasn’t remotely near a fairway on the front 9.

He will rue the tee shot on 14 with an iron and then at the par 5 17th.

64 and he didn't hit a fairway on the front 9, what a competitor.

Id say its the lip-out and the rim job that will grate more tbh!

Some of his iron play today was as good as it was in the past. He can definitely win another Major.

3 way play off, you heard it here first! :D

    That was an entertaining watch

to think where Woods has come from his Dui mugshot not so long ago to here - everyone loves a redemption story. he's become a more likable guy compared to what he used to be also - much more open in interviews etc.

Entertaining final day. Extremely impressive champion. Honed his game on the challenge tour and then the European tour and now is a world number one in waiting and a 3 time major champion.

Phenomenal effort from Woods and the reality of another major win isn’t far away at all.

Good showing from the Europeans this time around too.

Now Tiger for the US Ryder cup team so I can see him live once again :)

A few of the guys have found themselves on the European tour...would be great if a few more of them came over and tried it...I reckon its better for them than the Nationwide.

Looks like Tiger will get 2nd on his own, which is unreal play, especially where he was on the front 9!

But it's probably a large part of what makes him such a successful player.

Bit of a waxwork with a pulse, this guy. His charisma doesn't feel fitting with his new record, matching that of legends. Well done, all the same.

Incredible composure, mentally he's on a higher level than his rivals. Actually to have multiple major winners in 3 of the last 5 seasons is amazing considering the strength in depth.

He has won all over the world as he started on the European tour and also played in japan before the pga tour.

You’d have to think the way he cut his teeth has him a well rounded golfer.

Regular PGA I should have said.

Did he win on European Tour? He did on challenge.

Hard to take to him, Butch called Rory robotic at the Open, Koepka is the ultimate robot
