    YES! He's done it!
He's uttered something even more stupid than 'weather'.

As I predicted! Didn’t even take him a day. Same show. You couldn’t pay for this level of stupidity, and yet we are.

He was truly pathetic today !! To a whole new level
In all my years of suffering listening to Lahvline, I have rarely heard worse than today.

While I u-turned my way around south Dublin city trying to find a path through the fallen trees (and there were a LOT of them ) to get to work, I heard Joe's pathetic attempts at whipping up a storm out of the storm - I've said it before, and I'll say it again - pure gutter tabloid journalism. Not for the first time, Whineline would be a more apt moniker.

And only short of promising at the end of the show that the ploughing will be on on Friday, despite AnnaMay explicitly saying that they couldn't promise or even guess at that yet, as they were still only exploring if it was feasible. He'd remind you of a slobbering dog (with apologies to all slobbering dogs out there, I love dogs) pathetically eager to please.

He's a Taxi driver who won the RTE lotto. That's his level.

No offence to Taxi drivers btw.

He probably drove up to it an hour after it fell and decided here's a chance to get some free publicity.

Also looks like he'd get under it comfortably, but hey, let's make somethign THAT DIDN'T ACTUALLY HAPPEN a story.

With all these falling trees today, I do hope Kat-Trinn Thomasssssessssessssss' mudder is safe.

Unless he was waiting there for 8 seconds before it fell, I'd say he would have been well past it.

    Especially in his Range Rover.

    Good man Phil.

I was almost hit by a falling tree today, in that tress fell on roads I was on. Will I call Joe tomorrow? Oh that's right - my number is blocked and he's in Tulla-More-Ray.

Don't call unless you missed it by 10 seconds, or you were actually in a car that had just been hit by a tree, morya.

Death is preferable, or near death, but life-changing injuries are also acceptable.

No I made numerous complaints to RTE and the BAI about someone. They have my details so to speak.

Someone suggested I get a burner phone and dat. I would never do that.;)

Should contact the ombudsman if you feel you have been unfairly treated buttersuki? They will compel RTÉ to give a reason(s) for blocking your Num if that’s what has happened.

I haven't actually rang to check if I'm blocked but given the nature and frequency of my complaints (and to make a complaint you have to give your name, address and telephone number) I'm pretty sure my details are logged and flagged in RTE. I'd say the alarm bells go off in RTE if I got as far as 1850 7 on de EYEfone so to speak.

I missed the show today as I had the day earmarked for the ploughing but I've read all the posts and it cheered me up no end.

I hope to get going tomorrow. Every year I try to get to see the cookery demos and the horses ploughing and every year I get sidetracked. Meeting people I haven't met in donkey's years and chatting for....well hours.

What? If he if was in that spot 10 seconds earlier he's saying the tree would be on top of him.

You don't have to park in the road to get hit by a tree. A friend of mine can confirm that. And just like Philip, my mate wasn't driving a Range Rover either.

Although I fail to see how the brand of car is relevant in this case.

    What's this about his leg.

They were all wrong. It's actually a Defender. I used to have a 3.5 V8 petrol one once. Some yoke to move.

I don't think 'more music' has produced this week and is likely in Tullamoray a few days setting up.
Nice work if you can get it.
