    It's the north inner city. Not far from Croke Park.

    Depends on what you mean by ill repute. I'll put it this way and say there nicer parts of the city.

    That song Monto is the shortened of what was montgomery street (now foley street) near connolly station.

    It was a notorious red light district back in the day.

    Once upon a time dublin would have been considered the second city of the british empire and it had the red light district to match
