    yes i hate that, but if you have virgin tv at home you can get bbc 5 live on that

    Just because it's by the sea doesn't make it a links course. Gold Coast in Waterford is by the sea, Old Head is by the sea. Neither are links.

    I have no problem with him not playing in Lahinch but it would definitely have been better prep than that dog track in Scotland. You only have to see the feedback from some of the players who played last week to see what the pros thought of it.

    I'd imagine Aberdeen Asset Management paid him handsomely to appear and if that's what motivates him then who are we to argue.

    the more i got into the irish open. The more i got frustrated with Rory
    not being there.

    then you see Rahm steeling the show and crowd. Was a mistake (imo).

    yes basically naturally sand based i would say which is why you never see many trees on a links

    Heard Rory's interview on RTE Sport this morning, full of the usual golfers 'crap'. You'd think he'd have enough sense by now to avoid over analysing his chances by now and have a way of deflecting those type of questions. Kinda sets himself up for failure.
