Vrakrash sighs and laments Hurguil again.

'Had our dwarven guide lived he may have been able to provide something... perhaps some of the armored dwarves who inhabit this place might know tell of it?'

OOC: One of the golden armored dwarves stayed to fight with us, are they still here?

"I will assist you in your search, I will enquire about your sword, wherever I go until a trail is found, if that does not displease you. There is a knowledgeable dwarf out through that hard to see exit on the NW wall, and then through the North west door. I don't think he would tell me much without a disguise, as is his dislike of elves, you see, i was in disguise as a human when I last talked to him, he may have heard tell of your sword, if it is in the gigadark."

The group arrives in the room with the trapped Mage, who looks very excited.

"Do you have the breastplate? If so, simply melt the central gem stone and I'll be free....FREE AT LAST!!!"

'Forgive me mage, but just why exactly were you trapped here? I don't know all the details, but it seems a trifle odd he wouldn't just take your power, and kill you rather than leave you here for what must seem an eternity.'

"I'm not sure, but i wouldnt like to be trapped, so i dont suppose she likes it much either, and she sure looks to be joyful at the thoughts of being released, that makes me happy, so i'm game for freeing her"

"Vrakrash has a point, perhaps all is not as it seems. Best to be sure." Iuric closes his eyes and concentrates for a moment.

Iuric, using the intuition granted to him by his god, doesn't get an odd feeling from the mage. Nothing out of the ordinary.

"Hmm, she isn't a demon in disguise or some such. Freeing her seems like the right thing to do. And if she does attack what mortal could stand against us eh?" Iuric bluffs.

Necro

Vrakrash examines the gem stones. He has come to know a bit about gems... well.. collecting them anyways.

The breastplate has runic markings around the central gem and a rune etched into the gem itself.

Vrakrash shrugs.

'Used it up melting dwarves earlier... need a recharge.'

He looks at Sarric and Karinth.

'Any magic to melt this thing?'

Sarric put the breastplate on the ground and tries to remove the central gem from the breastplate using his longs word and some tough persuasion.

"if I can't free the gem, I'll just go and throw the whole thing in the lava"

'A man of action. That's why I like you Sarric - no messing around. I'm telling you, could have done with both of you when I met that blasted ant queen... a few more of us and we would have made those Praetorians run for their lives.'

Vrakrash digs into his backpack, past the insane amount of gems he has now amassed (OOC: 14, including the big one)

He pulls out a piton and tosses it to Iuric.
