    Gabriel era Genesis, Brand X and the Phil Collins Big Band with Harry Kim...all good stuff, no problem with Phil as a performer, but after 'and then there were 3', with Hacketts departure and the bid for commercial popularity I lost interest.... That said, I did like his take on 60 soul and tamla...

    He did play drums on Eno's Another Green World, one of my favourite albums ever so I'll forgive him for Dance Into The Light.

    I adore Phil Collins music. Saw him in concert last year and it was amazing! Separate Lives had half the audience in tears.

    Looked at 3 youtube videos of him and have come to the conclusion thats he's rubbish. before i seen this tread hearing him mentioned in the song stan was the only time I ever heard of him

    He did indeed put down the drums on AGW, (along with guest slots from Robert Fripp and John Cale)..
    Phil also did the drumming on Manfred Manns rock version of Prokofievs 'Peter and the wolf', which id highly recommend as many of the musicians went on to form Brand X...
