The poor audience tonight, a pure misery fest so far.

Compared to the usual festival of fun.

Never read a book in my life.

We should start putting dedications into the Opening Posts of threads.

I'd just like to dedicate this post to everyone reading, even those lurking who never post.
We are richer for having your presence.

So the LLS isnt looking for celebs anymore, just people who knew the celeb before they died. This opens up a whole new avenue of guests for TUBS

Peter Cushing had a rose called after his wife too.

Is this geez English or ridiculously posh Irish?

Those two young girls eating the vegan food were the same two that gave Ryan a makeover on the toy show last year. Making a name for themselves in RTE already.

We could start with an RIP to cover all the death.

I hope there's a Rosa Parks Rose Park somewhere, with good bus connections.

I think that story came about around Beijing olympics in 2008. McDonald s is near the same in every country and implements the same standard. Means you are a lot less likely to get food poisoning in their restaurants internationally. You know what you are getting

It's not exactly the same, but you're dead right.

I was in Tokyo a few years back, before I realised Japanese food is amazing. Didn't know what anything was - my guidebook had warned me that most things are bland and the most common food is soggy pickled vegetables.

I never thought stumbling across a McDonald's would be such an incredibly welcome event.

The correlation and causation was extremely truculent.

I buy bukes and leave them on the coffee table for my dinner parties and let people comment on how well read I am.

    It's safer.

I do that with the "What's on in the National Concert Hall" booklet.

I also like to keep a can of Mythos Greek beer in the fridge, in the hope that I can offer it to someone, prompting them to ask what it is, so I can tell them about my adventures in Crete.

Edit: Full disclosure, I stumbled across the beer in Lidl, Tallaght.

    Welsh Megaman,

I think I once saw a BBC Wales version of The Lyrics Board.

Friday Night at about 9.30 on BBC 1 Wales

    Did that really happen?

Is this why Dee Forbes wants an increase in the licence fee? Six extra appearance fees that won't pay themselves ;)
