Just once in the snooker I would love if the commentator said "John Higgins looks like he can't lose this match. Unless he has taken a bribe to lose it. Again."

Welcome to the thread, Bob. You seem a lot happier when presenting 'The Old Grey Whistle Test'.

I think that reference is lost in translation :pac:

Did I see Carrie Crowley in that ad? Was that her name?

Funny, I was listening to the U.S. Murph off Second Captains podcast just today. Mentioned a new player for the San Francisco Giants, one Carrie Crowley.

That's an interesting career, assuming it's the same person. Which, to be fair, it might not be.

If the olden days folk playing GAA were given the new diets and fitness regimes of todays era they would have played something else.

Ffs, talk about the mans life, don't milk the death and how sudden it was.

This is nicer and more fun than I expected.

I understand an awful lot of people were very fond of Tony Keady. Seems to have been a super fella.

(The Sunday Game is nearly back! Yeeeehaw!)

This is really painful to watch and Tubridy is talking about it in a really awkward, uncomfortable tone.

Is their anyone better in this life than a sports person? Answer: Yes, of course, what a silly question.

I don't know why he's making his children relive the horror of finding their father in that situation.

Somewhat intrusive sticking the camera in the face of the sons over and over again.

They are a bit young for this, having to sit there listening to how their Dad died.

Exactly, I can't see it helping them, if anything it might make them ask more questions.

    Well said.

It's absolute rubbish. Talk about how amazing he was.

    "How've you been Margaret?"

That was the last, pitiful effort to drag some sadness from these people. They all did very well.

Perhaps they have invested all the €100 million land sale money in depression drugs companies.

    I don't like these two.

And I'm normally quite well disposed to twins.

    I liked Jedward.

But I don't like these two.
