If she knew your stance, she probably wouldn't tell you.

    Most likely yes, sadly.

    That's it.

She'd go off and get it dealt with and say nothing, forever carrying around a secret that she knows you'd hate her for.

Or, if she was 12/13/14, chances are you'll find her curled up in a ball somewhere bleeding and close to death because she read something online that would work and tried it out in secret because she knew you wouldn't help.

So loving they are, these pro-life people. All compassion.

She didn't ask to be raped, why should she have to deal with the consequences of that rape????

Listen, its far from an ideal situation, but why should the unborn child die?

Listen, it's far from an ideal situation, but why should your daughter have to carry her rapist's baby other than because you want her to?

Could you blame her? You've just said your beliefs are more important than your daughter.

That's you........ the bay didn't rape her, the baby didn't ask to be in that situation, its a horrible situation that doesn't need to be made worse. The damage was done by the rapist, the child still deserves to live.

She was a victim when she was raped, she didn't ask to be raped, she didn't ask to become pregnant, she most definitely didn't ask to be in that situation, yet you want her entire life to be altered because some a$$hole decided he had a right to whatever he wanted with her body when he didn't? She should spend 18+ years paying for his crime when he'll probably go to prison for what 5 years and maybe time off for good behaviour? if he even goes to prison at all?

Not just merely want her to but think she should be legally forced to.

Id be raising my daughter to come to me, abortion isn't the only option.

Id show her compassion and pleading with her not to abort the baby just because shes young.

Many young women have babies young and can thrive at life. Yes its a big change but one that they wouldn't be alone in.

    Are abortion pills dangerous?

This is another reason why we are told we need 12 weeks unrestricted abortion.

Jaysus, even when you are given the data you actually refuse to believe it.

I would say that Im astounded but in fact - its what all the No voters on this thread do. Ignore the evidence.

The report shows that abortions rates are lower in countries where abortion is legal and has been in decline generally over the past 25 years. Some of the countries studied have gone from illegal to legal in that time frame.

There is no previous data but they use a variety of methodologies to estimate rates where no data is available.

Can you even point out where you think they have gone wrong or are you just in full denial mode?[/quote]
"There is no previous data "  wow would you look at that .

Listen Im not supporting rapists, so lets not go down that road.

I wouldn't want to abort a baby on top of everything. Its still a life.

You aren't supporting rapist's but you would force your daughter to remain pregnant at the hands of one.

    Right.

You would raise your daughter to believe she will be treated with compassion provided she made a decision you are happy with.

If she's going to have an abortion you won't forgive her.

Emotional blackmail and manipulation is not compassion.

Because it's not a child yet, not even close. Ignore the false information on the NO posters. It would fit in a matchbox. Aborting before 12 weeks is the humane thing to do.

It's not an ideal situation, but hard choices have to be made in life. And that can mean that an abortion is the best choice available, however much you might wish otherwise.

    Right.

I would, honestly. Its a life, a human life. It doesn't deserve to die too.

Because it will be born to a mother who never asked for it and who has been forced to bear it and may forever look at that child with the memory of the circumstances in which it came about.

And because it is not a sentient or independent living entity on the same level as the woman. And therefore is not entitled to the same rights as that woman.

If she does not wish to be pregnant, she must be able to choose to end that pregnancy. If the feotus cannot survive without her, so be it.

But that is your choice and no one is forcing you to do it.

Why do you need to force your view on others so they can't choose for themselves?

So effectively you'd be making her a martyr for your own cause.

The pills aren't dangerous, they're on the World Health Organisations list of safe medicines. What is dangerous is taking them without medical supervision and doctor having your full medical history.

Potentially any medication can be deadly without any medical supervision, in this instance where women won't even be willing to go to a doctor if there are side effects. Eg my doctor has advised me to never take the likes of nurofen plus as it could have pretty serious side effects for me.

but you are speculating that a victim should have to carry the burden of her attackers crime.

it's a potential life tbf, a lot can go wrong between conception and delivery and there is a reason people dont announce their pregnancies the day they do the test. It's not a baby at that stage. It will under the exact right conditions become a baby but it is not one.

Where is the compassion for a woman who has been raped and is pregnant as a result of it????
