Chlorine is a very active chemical, which is why anyone with a chlorinated swimming pool has to constantly keep adding chlorine to replace that which breaks down. The OPCW team were deliberately prevented from accessing the area for two weeks, and even before they got there, some experts were saying the delay was too long and the evidence would be gone.

Locals also reported Russian troops constantly going in and out of the sites in the weeks that the OPCW were prevented from accessing the sites.

No big surprise then that the results were inconclusive. Any suggestion the reports of chlorine use were false, are completely invalid due to the inspection delay engineered by Russia and the Syrians.

The OPCW report explains in great detail the delays and nowhere does it blame Syrian Arab Army or the Russians.
Syria was attacked illegally by US,UK and France.

Here's another story of a false flag chemical attack that was foiled by the citizens marching pro Assad so the jihadis couldn't use it.

About an hour after we raised the flag, one of the head co-ordinators came to us with another person and he told us that we had ruined their plans. I asked why. They told me they had released “news” of a chemical attack the night before, saying 30 people had been killed. When we raised the flag around 3pm or 3.30pm the day after, we ruined it for them”

They told me – ‘how can an area get hit by chemical weapons by the Syrian government and  then hours later residents in the same area, are raising the Syrian flag?’. They also told me we had ruined their communications with the UN and that there would be no intervention from Al Tanf after all. The main co-ordinator’s name was Abdulmueeh Hommus.

The story is well researched and proof including tweets from white helmets claiming gas attack are included. Vanessa Beeley the reporter actually goes to Syria.

You probably prefer the BBC whose headline was 'Chlorine gas attack' until they were called out on it and changed it today to 'Possible chlorine', both of which are complete lies in any case.

Robert Fisk was one of the first westerners on the ground after the attack and his report on what he saw (or didn't see) ties very well with the findings that no chemical weapons were used.

It was all propaganda and this was pushed hard by the media in the West.

Ah yes, the famous Robert Fisk.

The man who's very surname is used by journalists around the world in a derogatory way.

To Fisk - to make stuff up.

We should defend our way of life to an extent that any attempt on it is crushed, so that any adversary will never make such an attempt in the future.

I'm one of the other users yourself and others labeled a "putinbot" when I pointed out "The White Helmets " were not exactly the heroes they are perceived to be .

Maybe it's you who needs to change tactics as this so called "attack" has once again been proven to have very little evidence to back it up .

Nothing like being an actual journalist who doesn’t just buy into the propaganda of western governments.

It wasn’t Fisk cheerleading Bush and Blair in to their war crimes in Iraq which were based on lies.

I'm not sure who you think was cheerleading Bush and Blair into the Iraqi war, because i sure wasnt, and i dont know anyone else who did either. And again it has no relevance to this thread, but sure you already knew that.

There is a difference between getting something wrong, and 'fake reporting', as in, to deliberately report what you know to be false (or intellectually dishonest, which is just as bad for a journalist).

The best journalists in the world have gotten it wrong....some of them many times.

    When?

Whats rarely mentioned is the fact that Fisk speaks Arabic, this makes him a reliable source as he is on the ground in Syria and not sitting in an armchair in Coventry!

Pearson Sharp an american journalist on the ground in Douma also reported there was no chemical attack. Robert Fisk wasn't alone in reporting this.

This was the first time OPCW went to Syria to take samples themselves and have a proper chain of custody to the labs. They relied on headchopping jihadi samples up to this,

Have you seen the amount of weaponry and tanks the Syrian Arab Army have taken from the rebels so far. It's staggering.

The remaining 'moderate rebels' in the south have joined ISIS and vowed to fight on. These were never moderate rebels.

Have you seen the people cheering and celebrating once the Syrians and Russians arrive in their towns,

The rebuilding starts immediately, along with food, and medical aid delivered.

People have started returning home to government held areas.

The US and allies carpet bombed Raqqa and left it like that, rubble with thousands of bodies under it. It is a disaster zone.

Damascas is being rebuilt and life has returned to normal. Syria is a secular country and the west tried to help islamist fighters take it over, but for Russia's help Syria would be another Iraq.

There was no chemical attack, there are alot of stories coming out about life under these rebels and it is described as hell. These are the people the US UK Saudi Arabia and who knows how many others were arming and training, but they don't want these rebels in their own countries so they're all stuck in Idlib fighting among each other until the SAA and Russia get to them.

Fisk has as much of a reputation these days for plagiarism and lies as he does for being a good journalist. I admit he was up there in his early career.

But the glory days are gone we you start parroting for the likes of Assad and Putin.
