With the clocks going forward it's a huge pain in the hole having to get up so early. But first race of the season so it's worth it

What's the difference between redbull strategy and the rest, are they on different tyres?

They start on a harder tyre than the others around them. Super soft vs Ultra soft

    Welcome back!

    Edit: Wow, they're all through turns 1 & 3!

Nice to see everyone still intact after the first corner

K-Mag in a competitive car is a recipe for pissing off a lot of people over the course of the season :D

Verstappen doing his tyres no favours sliding around a lot trying to get by KMag

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,956 ✭✭✭Cool_CM

Yeah, could be great to watch. He is good wheel to wheel and defends vigorously

    And Max has lost it!

    That's Max's race done.

Verstappen losing it, wrecking his own race. Sliding around behind KMag he was overheating his tyres

You could say he's gone for a Sunday afternoon 'spin' :pac:

Actually, Ericsson is showing up as being "In Pit" as opposed to being retired - looks like Sauber are still trying to fix his power steering.

    And the Honda broke.

I love Alonso but chastising his engineer for "losing the energy" is a bit knobbish

Honda reliability at it again this season

At the same time they were showing pics of him heading off to the paddock with his media handler. Think they need to update that graphic to out

Ferrari keep in striking distance, but as Ricciardo showing you really need a far quicker car to overtake. Bottas is also not cutting through the field.

    **** race.

Each season reaches 'meh' levels earlier and earlier. I used to love this sport.

Force India look like they've really dropped the ball this year.

    And K-Mag is out.
