TG4 showing the club finals on Sunday too

Fair play to TG4 for showing highlights of the NHL 2A and 2B finals. Between the RTÉ news and League Sunday you wouldn't even know the divisions existed.

TG4 surpass themselves as always with the coverage of our national sports.

Kicking off with highlights of yesterday's games at 13.00.

The club finals to follow and an hour and 20 minute Laochra Gael Colm Cooper.

Cludach thar barr gan aon dabht.

They're doing some wide angle camera thing on their website for the club finals too I think.

    That's a bit of a comedown after the hurling...…

Only jesting. Fantastic the way they are getting around the country. Their coverage of the underage hurling will start soon too as in other years.

Shame the GAA dont start off the season with a live game from New York on a saturday night. The Aussies Rules or Rugby would love to have such a showcase

Excellent news - while I'm not expecting anything other than a comprehensive win for Mayo, once again tg4 go above and beyond the call of duty. Well done tg4 :D

Would RTÉ and Sky have had to sign off on that?

Great news anyway. Must be one of the only sports in the world where the opening game of the competition wasn't televised.

Fair play to TG4, always want to see the New York game every year & now finally we can.

Hopefully it does really well for them and they get a decent audience for it. Sunday evening of a bank Holiday nó better time to kick off the championship!

    I'm not sure it will

It's a glorified challenge match (for Mayo and Galway anyway)

People might tune in to see the novelty of it but may be watching something else well before half time.
