    Did you ring this number: 1800 59 55 95‬ and press 2?

    Yes - every time.

That is odd. When I rang they knew about the plan right away!!

My customer service agents name was Robert - maybe you could ask for him (needle in a haystack though)

Just off the phone from Vodafone. I signed up for the deal. I was a Vodafone mobile customer years ago and I am with Tesco Mobile at the minute.

All very straight forward and explained perfectly. Sim card is in post and the port should happen in a few days time.

They said the plan is registered on their system and once the first top up is done I should be good to go.

    Here’s hoping :-)
Download the my VF app, after registration, should see plans etc there

I told them I was an ex-Vodafone mobile phone customer and I was with Tesco Mobile at the minute and that I wanted to return to Vodafone.

I then mentioned the Data User Plan and they signed me up for it right away.

None but I've been told you can use your unlimited mins in the EU to call home.

    I was told the following:

    15GB Data
    Unlimited calls and texts
    First month free
Top up by 20 every 28 days to get the Data and Texts
Text Talk to 50223 to activate the calls - this costs €15
Use the spare €5 as you wish
Roaming for data, calls and texts is included

SIM takes 2 days to arrive, then up to 72 hours for the plan to activate.

I'm just of the phone now and was told that theres NO call included, just text and 15gb.
You have to use the remaining €5 for calls. You can buy an addon for unlimited call for €5.

As far as I'm aware it's only for customers porting in, but I stand to be corrected.

Just phoned 1800 59 55 95 and pressed 2. Was told this plan doesn't exist, is it a matter of just keep phoning until you get someone that's aware of it? Thanks

    In my experience, yes.
And ask for the mobile sales team

I rang 4 times this morning and each time I was transferred to Bill pay. It's only when I specifically ask to speak to a NI agent who deals with PAYG did i get anywhwre. The PAYG agent was sitting next to him. Ask for either John or Diarmaid as they definitely know about the plan.

    Yes that sums it up

Do you have to activate the calls for 15eur every time you top up or just once?

Every 28 days. Set a reminder in your phone. Possibly same with Spotify add-on.

this folks in VF Marketing and Sales must be having the time of their life : customers are 'hunting' for 'secret' offers , and chase different reps on different call centers for a deal that most of the shops reps haven't heard/have access

at the end of the day is a win-win situation for the sales managers: both the 'stop-over network'(eir? ) and VF gets increased porting IN sim cards, to look good on the spreadsheet at the end of the month..

If Lyca can make profit from charging quarter of the prices and keep the servers/phone signal running, than it must be something else going on as why others have a 28 days month and ...xxxx...

Lyca phone signal wouldn't take much, I'd say a cheap euro shop battery provides the strength of signal I experienced.
