Great final over murtagh. Two runs and Powell wicket. murtagh 4-42.

    257/8 so 258 the target

Could have been so much better but , on the bright side, it looks perfectly chaseable. Just got to keep cool heads and bat well.

No (in regards to Irish born players)

Irish cricket is gonna be survived by South Africans/Australians in the near future.

Pity. I played indoor cricket at college and we had some really good Irish lads on our teams but they'd all be playing GAA or other sports too so was hard to get them to go out to the local outdoor cricket ground in the summer. I never went myself as I spent all my free time golfing but I did love the auld cricket

We always had slow starts to chases but importantly kept wickets in hand, not today it seems

9 run inning for Ireland there, still a chance.

    Edit.
    Followed immediately by an 8

Still in there, 112 off 16 overs is very doable if those 2 guys can keep going for another while

    Clouds coming in

Back to back fours to start the over

  • Registered Users Posts: 13,023 ✭✭✭✭Joe_ Public

Dangerous I know but starting to believe. Very tight as things stand.

Ireland only six behind the d/l at the start of the 33 so a big over here could put them ahead.
