Scotland seemed to gain considerable territory (while still having ball in hand) from where they originally won the penalty. Could have been deemed that they had amassed an advantage from the break.

Owens is infuriatingly inconsistent. He seems to completely ignore blatant infringements in front of him but will penalise random minor infringements whenever he gets the urge to blow his whistle
