What was the exact reason for the penalty?

    Obstruction

England very good at the breakdown, look strong over the ball.

    Obstruction

Yeah but it was because they jumped or because of where they were standing. As in was there a difference between that and the other numerous times we see box kicks?

Owens letting the Rucks become a free for all here.

Quicker service would really help Scotland.

Wilson has carried well in fairness to him.

Who's the commentator on TV 3?

Scotland need to be getting right into Mike Browns face now. Keep the ball over his neck of the woods and goad him repeatedly after a mistake like that.

Just watched it back, in his words "was in front of hindmost foot, came in late after the ball was won, and blocking the chasers coming through"

The difference is that the ball was clearly won by Scotland, the two boys joined it late and in front of the ball rather than behind the ball

That was incredible for Scotland. Nigel is looking at TMO now. I thought it was a try.

Finn Russell, I don't know how he got that pass away. Could so easily have been intercepted

Great decision making. Great try. Scotland have the smarts on England today.

Surely the issue (if there was an issue) would have been Finn Russell's pass to Maitland.

Anyway great try and game well and truly on.

Interested to see how Scotland mess this up in the second half now. I'd still have England by +15 at the final whistle.

What a mental try. That break from their own half. Talk about high risk!!

    Great entertainment though.

    That was a great try.

Can see the English getting back into it though

It looked all the world that Joseph was going to intercept.

Owens frustrating England by actually enforcing some of the laws

Guy has had huge criticism, nice to see him making a few people munch their words!

England got into the Scotland 22, and then Brown takes the man out - poor execution from England

I don't think Barclay had any rights to the ball there, the ruck had formed.

Long long way to go but England losing would be great for us.

A bit of afters from the 8's on the pitch. What was that about?

......and England are getting frustrated now. Plus Scotland are fired up.

Has had huge criticism because he's had a couple of incredibly bad games.
