Are you implying that because higher education recipients have tended over an extended time period to be more progressive and left leaning than the general population that this precludes the possibility that these tendencies are due to indoctrination?

It doesn't preclude it, no. It makes it statistically unlikely in my view.

I met a trans person recently (female to male). This guy had a beard and unless you were told you'd think they were a guy. It would be ridiculous making him use the womens toilets

Peterson would agree 100% here as you are compelling someone to use a certain toilet.

    or calling him her.

If your religious beliefs compelled you to do this - e.g. I am pretty sure a Muslim would call this person a female - then should they still be forced to call him a male?
It would also be extremely hurtful. Imagine your teacher kept calling you she in the classroom (if you were a male).

Yeah that might suck, depending how it was done and the motivation behind it. There is a strong argument to say you are correct to do so, if that's what you truly believe. If they did it in a respectful way, and otherwise treated you as a person, and didn't mark you down based on your gender, then I don't see the problem. I think it would be far worse to be called "he" and be passive aggressively referred to and shamed because some law says the teacher has to but is doing it through clenched teeth.
In an ideal world people would respect each other but unfortunately we need human rights and anti discrimination legislation because there are a lot of a holes about who enjoy bullying and putting others down.

Yes I agree with this. Then make it anti bullying legislation, not forced speech legislation.

I don't think many people are arguing that liberal bias is responsible for influencing the value of the explicit constants as measured by physicists.
In other academic fields bias would be more relevant.
An example I saw recently was from a psychology professor who mentions publication bias for studies in a number of areas that would be more relevant to what are considered by some to be liberal agendas below:

I may be stupid here, but neither of these subjects have ever been left/right issues. Unless I'm missing something. There are plenty of conservatives who would love to censor computer games for a start.

As for the correlation of IQ and grades, is that something liberals object to?

The correlation of IQ and grades would mean differing levels of performance from different groups could be explained by something other than institutional prejudice and systemic bias.

You mentioned in a previous thread that it was a "crap interview" and down to Newman, but nothing to do with liberals.
    What did you mean?
It was a crap interview for liberals to watch, but it was hardly a crap interview.
Any liberal interviewer in any television studio would be eaten alive by Peterson.

Really? More of this petty nonsense?

I said it was a crap interview because Newman did a terrible job of questioning him and interrupted him far too often with nonsense and misinterpretations, almost as if she was deliberately taking what he said the wrong way.

We sat again for an hour and a half discussing maps and figures and always getting back to that most damnable creation of the perverted ingenuity of man - the County of Tyrone.

Ok. Agreed. But wasn’t that obvious to everyone? I’m still failing to see this as a left/right issue. I don’t think anyone on the left claims that it’s entirelu down to prejudice and bias. We all know some people are smarter than others.

Go on then. Who’s pushing the censorship of computer games? I’d like some names.

Also, “lunatic liberal”? Come on. Liberals are centerist. They are not rabid marxists.

    https://www.politico.com/story/2017/09/01/antifa-charlottesville-violence-fbi-242235

"Federal authorities have been warning state and local officials since early 2016 that leftist extremists known as “antifa” had become increasingly confrontational and dangerous, so much so that the Department of Homeland Security formally classified their activities as “domestic terrorist violence,” according to interviews and confidential law enforcement documents obtained by POLITICO.

Previously unreported documents disclose that by April 2016, authorities believed that “anarchist extremists” were the primary instigators of violence at public rallies against a range of targets. They were blamed by authorities for attacks on the police, government and political institutions, along with symbols of “the capitalist system,” racism, social injustice and fascism, according to a confidential 2016 joint intelligence assessment by DHS and the FBI."

I am not a liberal. Never have been. I am a libertarian socialist. I await the list of acts of terrorism committed by Antifa.

    I’d add, I’m not a fan of Antifa. I’m also a pacifist.

If they are a terrorist organisation how come they aren't rounded up and arrested?

If you're telling people what should or should not be permitted in a game, and she absolutely pressurised games companies in that regard you're censoring.
And don't make me laugh about her cancelled college speech, Anita is FAMOUS for playing the victim card. Most if not all of those on the right have gotten serious death threats for agreeing to speak at colleges, and Antifa have turned up to underline that threat of violence, and yet they turn up anyway despite the threats only for the colleges themselves to cancel them.
Sarkeesian gets one anonymous threat and takes to her fainting couch and then scurrys off to address the UN about cyber bullying and offers to let people pay her to consult about it. She's a pathetic, manipulative, profiteering charlatan. Somebody really needs to ask here where all hundreds of thousands in cash she raised for a web series on feminism and women's representation in gaming went after she threw up a couple of cheaply produced episodes and then abandoned it.

    Good lad

I guess you missed the headline

"FBI, Homeland Security warn of more ‘antifa’ attacks"

And the first line of the article

""Federal authorities have been warning state and local officials since early 2016 that leftist extremists known as “antifa” had become increasingly confrontational and dangerous."

"After President Donald Trump’s election in November, the antifa activists locked onto another target "

"Some of the DHS and FBI intelligence reports began flagging the antifa protesters before the election. "

"At the Sacramento rally, antifa protesters came looking for violence, and “engaged in several activities indicating proficiency in pre-operational planning"

"Several state law enforcement officials said that all of those accelerating factors have come to pass. And recent FBI and DHS reports confirm they are actively monitoring “conduct deemed potentially suspicious and indicative of terrorist activity” by antifa groups. "

They are mentioned throughout the article, cause ya know, it's based on them.
