Apparently Albert Hammond wrote this Tina Turner song

He wrote some of Joe Dolan's hits and songs for loads of other people, basically him and Nile Rodgers carved up the charts between them.

So when exactly does the Big Fun start then, chaps?

That made Boyzone's RTE debut look professional. Difficult to decribe how bad that was.

    Schedule change on BBC4

tonight at 11pm Live Aid Doc (Replacing Classic Albums - Amy Winehouse)
Part one of a two-part documentary recounting the story behind the fund-raising concert. The first half deals with the lead-up to the event, when it seemed everything might end in disaster. With the performance date mere weeks away, Bob Geldof and his colleagues found themselves with no acts, no venue and no broadcaster. Geldof, Midge Ure and promoter Harvey Goldsmith discuss how they persuaded the stars to come on board, while Elton John, David Bowie, Paul McCartney, and members of U2 and Queen reminisce about the big day itself

Probably shown as a taster for When Harvey met Bob tomorrow
I don't think part two of this is scheduled at the moment, according to my listings

Now they have put part 2 on tomorrow on BBC2 at 9.15pm, and dropped When Harvey Met Bob

It makes my listings post completely wrong

    Sulk

In Cuba they only have 2 types of beer.

Which seems not good, but in fact saves a great deal of prìcking about deciding what to drink.

Of all the records I have, Buena Vista is comfortably the most played. It gets a run out at least once a month for years at this stage

Can I mention I was in that Casa de la Trova in Santiago?

Can I mention I have a Tres from Santiago?

Even if they had a 100 beers the answer would not change... Havana Club rum.

I can almost taste the mojitos from here.

Granted, I am actually drinking a (several) mojito(s) right now.
