A bit odd that Sinead was there, but Cait still sang Haunted.

No, he just came on 15 minutes from the end. President Higgins made a presentation to him.

thanks for the above list saves me typing and remembering them all... so imho

    Part 1
'Gabrielle'/'Hot Dogs With Everything'/'That Woman's Got Me Drinking' - Jesse Malin, Glen Matlock (Bass), Clem Burke of Blondie (Drums) etc. - this was a great opener
'If I Should Fall From Grace With God' - Carl Barât (The Libertines) - not bad, could have learned the words!
'Streams Of Whiskey' - Damien Dempsey - pretty good, usual performance from Damo
'The Broad Majestic Shannon' - Cerys Matthews - brilliant, wish I had seen Catatonia live!
'The Dark Streets Of London'- Aoife (whenyoung) - not bad
Camille O'Sullivan - I think there is a song missing here?
'Kitty' - Finbar Furey - why?, I grew up listening to the Fureys and DA, but Finbar has gone way too soppy for me
'Streets of Sorrow/Birmingham Six' - Terry Woods and Lisa O'Neill , very good
'Haunted' - Cait O'Riordan - really good, she enjoyed every second of the gig
'The Body Of American' - Damien Dempsey - great version
'Sally MacLennane' - Damien Dempsey - really good version
'Bottle O’Smoke' - Glen Hansard - usual Glen (did he actually sound like Shane from 20 years ago?)
'Victoria' - Glen Hansard - very nice version
'Boys From The County Hell' - Spider Stacey - fav Pogues song of mine and I hate Spider "singing" but he did an ok job on this
'Fiesta' - Imelda May - pretty good

    Part 2
'You're the One'- Sinead O'Connor - simply brilliant
'The Old Man Drag' - Lankum - really enjoyed this version with the organ in the background
'A Pair Of Brown Eyes' - Bobby Gillespie (Primal Scream) - shocking bad
'Lullaby of London' - Lisa O'Neill - a highlight for me, been listening to her all day
'Fairytale Of New York' - Glen Hansard and Lisa O'Neill - pretty good
'London Girl' - Carl Barât (The Libertines) - shocking bad!
'The Sick Bed of Cuchulainn'- Camille O'Sullivan - really good
'Rain Night in Soho' - Bono and Johnny Depp - how to kill a classic!
'Summer in Siam' - Nick Cave and Shane MacGowan - very good, would have been nice to see Nick do another song or two
'Will Ye Go, Lassie, Go?' - Shane MacGowan - this was nice but very sad - I do not think Shane has too many birthdays left.

Overall a very memorable gig, delighted to have been there.

Cait sang on the original. The version on the Snake is a re-recording

Would have loved to have been there.Watched bits online instead. Was Bono cringingly awful or would I have to have been there to appreciate him?Seemed like a waste of Johnny Depp.

The less Johnny Depp the better I would have thought.

First time I've heard this version

Cait sang on the original. The version on the Snake is a re-recording

Yes he was awful, was out of time with the music (but I suppose he was putting his own slant on the song). Depp played on Shane's first album with The Popes on the track That Woman's Got Me Drinking.

Cait's version of Haunted was as good as I've ever heard, the musicianship of the backing band was superb and sound was excellent. Great venue for the event.

Was a savage night, best performances on the night would have to be from Damien Dempsey (singing Sally MacLennane without backing was excellent), Glen Hansard (version of Victoria was brilliant), Sinead O'Connor and Lankum (I hadn't a clue who they were, but did a brilliant version of The Old Main Drag).

Lankum were Lynched before the name change. They've been around a long, long time, but only released their first album a couple of years ago and that's catapulted them into the spotlight with appearances on Jools Holland and at The Royal Albert Hall. All a bit mental really, but I love both of their albums. Delighted for them. Daragh and Ian have been playing in punk bands for years too.

    Surprised Christy Moore wasn't there.

Is it because of all the alcohol that would be getting consumed?

could of been playing some where himself ??

few other people who I thought would be there are Christy Dignam (think he was at the David Bowie night), Bob Geldof, other members of u2
