As expected. Does this secure Hartley for next season then?

No, they said they will be getting rid of him at all costs. They want him gone ASAP and will do so now if they can find a suitable replacement.

Lando Norris to take part in FP1 for McLaren this weekend.

I'm expecting both Vandoorne and Norris to be in an F1 seat next year. One getting the available McLaren seat, and the other getting a drive in Toro Rosso. This all being the deal to release James Key from his RB contract.

Great for him. I hope he cannot handle the pressure. Could be a top driver and we could have another teammate rivalry.

I suspect Max might be in s position to bully his teammate by next year. But we can live in hope.

Great for him. Now interesting to see who gets one of the two cockpits, like as talked before no RedBull junior has the super license yet. Only with a meddling in the points, Ticktum could get it if Macau gets points assigned.

this mid season transfers and contract is a joke in all sports.

Riccardo whether he likes or not is not just a passanger until next season.
Sainz has to do F- all for the rest of the season has his seat for 2019
RB promoting Gasly is a mistake . I actually like him as a driver . I think he has done a massive job for TR but needs another season and it would have been a competitive enough of a season with TR in 2019 probably .
Alonso should have gone before the season started . He knew the car was crap ever before he got on a track . Just wasted another year of his career . With him gone it might have given Mclaren some time to actually sort the car out instead of throwing just anything on the track to try and keep him.
A lot of drivers are now just sitting wondering what happens next . Ocon for one what happens him. Perez is secure some bit as he put FI in to admin so the Stroll Family pack could buy it .
Is Roman Gone as well .

truely is a silly season for the sport.

Hopefully Spa will be good this weekend

The rumours are that Toto Wolff has been pushing for Ocon in a Mclaren seat given how uncertain his place is at Force India

Doesnt bother me about the station it's just great to have F1 back on again!
It's getting to the stage where I've watched all the classic f1 races on skysportsf1 that they are showing repeats :pac:

I watched a classic F1 race a short while back. They didn't bother showing the finish.

Lads it's 'Crofty' not David Croft, get it right :pac:

Half the problem with the commentary is that a lot of us were spoiled by having somebody as entertaining as Murray Walker

Is there a joke I'm missing?

I've watched all the recent ones (ie all ones shown since the last GP) and can confirm this did not happen in any.

I'm not joking. It was on around the time of the German/Hungarian races.

Which race? I've a lash of them recorded from around then.

I hate it when they spoiler the winner in the summary. Like "Damon Hill won this day", I drink to forget this things and watch races again cheering for my favourite driver of the decade.

Great for him. I hope he cannot handle the pressure. Could be a top driver and we could have another teammate rivalry.

I suspect Max might be in s position to bully his teammate by next year. But we can live in hope.
That's harsh. I hope he can handle the pressure and puts more pressure on Verstappen. I think Gasly is a very good driver with a lot of potential.

    Live long and Prosper

Oh sh1t. Shafted again by autocorrect.

To clarify, I hope he CAN handle the pressure. I admire the job he’s done this year. And I think he could continue to develop and become a top driver.

Well at least the front wings look a lot simpler so that should been better racing but the rear looks like it got squished and I don't think the rear wing would do a lot. It might help keep the car low to the ground but I think a diffuser would be needed to. When I seen it first I actually thought it was a robot race car.

    Live long and Prosper

    Peace and long life.

Looking ahead to the race this weekend, I think Lewis will win. If he does, he will be a four time Belgian Grand Prix winner.

The only current driver on the grid to win the Belgian Grand Prix four times is Kimi (2004, 2005, 2007, 2009).

My money is on Vettel to come back stronger and win the next two races.
A Ferrari 1-2 for the next two would spice it up again. :D

I want to believe you, but I can't trust Vettel given Spa's reputation for wet weather.
