It could happen , a lot of last season was wasted by both Honda and Mclaren with the constant looking for mariginal gains , instead of resonalbe development.

Toro Rosso arent a top team , but need an engine. both get time they need and at the end of last season the Honda was usually in the top ten, just not at the good end .

I would laugh so hard if Torro Rosso Honda had reliability and speed and Mcclaren was a complete donkey of a car.

The Force India name change, according to Sky Sports, will be announced once it has cleared the current process of approval. It was noted there is no Force India branding on the car.

Good news


McLaren boss Zak Brown says Alonso's trip into the gravel with a lost wheel was caused by "a wheelnut issue". The car will be running again this afternoon, reports motorsport.com and Autosport's ADAM COOPER.

Hah, love these little cars - bring back memories of the '80s on screen timing!!!

Now, one interesting thing - am I the only one who doesn't "see" the halo anymore? Every time I see pics of these cars, I have to double check - I go "oh that had no halo", then go back and yep, it's there. I guess I'm subconsciously "removing" it as noise, the same way you don't really hear an alarm that's been going on for hours or don't sense a persistent smell.

That said, the thing still is an eyesore and, from the looks of it, serves very little purpose (an heavy object falling from above can still hit the driver, as most team implemented it in a way that drops around the head). Bring on Indy's screen...

In fairness Alonso was going well even after just 6 laps and that engine in the Renault is doing quite good so far.

I've no issue with the Halo but it is definitely more garish on certain cars. Ferrari is one of them. A dark or black halo blends quite well. I think the Indy screens look quite good.

I was just going to post how strange it was to see the wheel come off like that during oversteer and that perhaps it was loose.

From the first impressions it seems the Renault is going very well and up there with Mercedes and Ferrari.

After 2 races if Toro Roso are ahead of McLaren and competitive I'd say Alonso will give McLaren the 2 fingers and go to Toro Roso, I'd say they would drop a driver in a heart beat to have him

Why would Honda want to listen to a whiney driver again. He was insulting them for years and if turned out that it was not just Honda but also McLaren he would be the least deserving driver to land that seat.
