Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Appalling defensively again so far

If we lose it’s Buer’s fault

Only one team in it. Dragons deserve their lead and the try.

Hey, I was the one saying I didn't expect a good performance.

    But Jackman....the shame.

JL remembers to actually call the mark this time. Costly mistake by not calling it earlier.

was that Noel Reid kicking to the wing?

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,258 ✭✭✭✭Buer

Great response. Lovely from Byrne, Reid and McFadden and sharp from JGP after good support.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,223 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

    Larmour is a star.

Isa, however, is having a bit of a stinker.

Is Nacewa set on just kicking every ball he gets dead?

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 3,585 ✭✭✭irishfan9

    Nacewa poor

Doesn't have the pace to beat someone on the outside.

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,258 ✭✭✭✭Buer

I genuinely wonder if JGP would make a good winger. Passing is ropey, kicking from the base is poor but he's great in space, supports well and isn't a bad tackler.

How the commentator on TG4 pronounces "Byrne" sounds a lot like "Buer". Every time I then look at boards.ie I get confused.

Then hold onto it. Get the vibe this year he's a bit past it. Brain still there but the athletic ability going rapidly. Hope we get him on the coaching staff when the time comes

Try Nacewa! On the wing. :p

Ferg is having a Ferg of old performance.
All action and some nice touches like that pas to Fardy

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,223 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

I bloody love Scott Fardy. Blasting through puny backs for fun.

Ed Byrne with the outside break!!!

About as sore as John Hayes not making the 2011 RWC squad.

Larmours running style and the way he holds the ball remind me so much of Piatau.

If all the back three had the threat of pace and a step...

If the back 3 was genuinely 3 larmours we'd be tearing them to shreds, he looks so good.

If we win Buer gets nothing

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,223 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

I need to see a back three of Larmour at FB with Adam Byrne and James Lowe on the wings.

    WHAT.

    A.

    TRY.

Kind of games ross needs to be controlling now..

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,258 ✭✭✭✭Buer

That cross kick was ridiculous. Genuinely looked like something Ciaran McDonald or Diarmuid Connolly would strike in Croke Park.

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 3,585 ✭✭✭irishfan9

Give Nick mc the whole 2nd half plz

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,223 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Ross Byrne and Jordan Larmour have been very good.

Deegan's had a few impressive carries and Fardy is far too good for this level.

Have to reel in the horses on Nacewa having a mare, he has been really good at getting into play on breaks, at least twice has protected the ball on our line breaks, maybe he doesn't have the pace he once had but he has played intelligently and is absolutely contributing to a bonus point in the first half!

First 20 he had two awful kicks out on the full

    What happened molony? Look serious?

Thought Josh Murphy has looked impressive. Gets stuck in and doesn't inspect rucks

Saw that (I switched on at 10 nil so perhaps I missed some defensive errors?) but it all seemed fairly decent kicks aside!

Referee is certainly being kind to us. We have been miles offside repeatedly in defence and still end up getting the pen.

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 3,585 ✭✭✭irishfan9

    Nick McCarthy please

Angus O'Brien's misery deepens, poor fecker. :)

Peter Dooley is too good to be 4th choice loosehead.

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,258 ✭✭✭✭Buer

That's incredibly harsh. Drifting defender was very well placed to make a tackle.

Would he have beaten the ball, I don't think so.

Bring COB on in centre for nacewa.

Ball was going to second last man who he would have reached unless there were incredibly quick hands to put Nacewa in.

Haven’t seen much of him. But if he’s hitting rucks that explains that. Not dynamic and not surprising considering his lean frame
