I call Triumvirate. But eez grayte shame, bro, seereeuslee. Bro, eez meest oppertooneetee.

So eight from the Triumvirate, Necro is also from there.

Both of you have elves from Triumvirate forests. Elves in general have withdrawn from the rest of the world, but many are willing to help against the invaders for moral reasons (the new force doesn't threaten the elves directly), however others don't care. So up to you which group your elves are from.

If you want to know more about the new invading group for fleshing out characters, just let me know.

My elf is definitely with the latter, he doesn't give a sh1t, just wants gold. He's a big gaping arsehole. Like most of Tolkiens elves basically :D

Free all nights bar Saturday 22nd (and I suppose Xmas Day :pac: ) until 1st January

Nights are challenging. Days are challenging. I think I need to face the fact that in the last 3 months my life has just evolved beyond being able to play fast moving play-by-boards :(

might be free for a bit tomorrow though. Unless I'm not and have another unscheduled white-goods crisis.

i dunno what i am doing from 1 day 2 the next tbh.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 13,404 ✭✭✭✭sKeith

working tomorrow and staff levels are low, so i'm good for tomorrow.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 13,404 ✭✭✭✭sKeith

i support staff, so unlike other jobs, when staff is low, my work load is low, not the other way around like most folk.

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,558 ✭✭✭✭Fourier

    Quentanna:
    Bees:
29 bees infect your body currently (by the time you're in Madania). When you cast a spell you can release a bee from your body, which swells to the size of a fist as it enhances the spell and then flies off after.
It gives a +d6 to the spell roll and +1 to any results ("results" refers to the fact that some values on the spell table require a further roll, the +1 is for that. For example Charm Person's 14-17 result has you roll a d4 to see what kind physical effect being controlled has on the target)
You can burn more than one bee at once, but you must make a Will save or all are released dealing 1d3 damage each (i.e. you'll die at your current level). Target is +5 for every bee released after the first.

Bees regenerate at a rate of 1 per week.

    Spell manifestations:
Spells can manifest differently. Magic Missile for example can be an axe, acid, arrows, eagles summoned into exitence, meteors, pure energy, etc. It's rolled on the spell's success. These will have situational benefits, for example a stream of acid might melt a wall, a pile of arrows will not.

    Spells:
    1. Magic Shield
    2. Ekim’s Mystical Mask
    3. Magic Missile
    4. Invoke patron (The Horned God will intervene in some way, you have the table)

    Your Variants:
    1. Your magic shield summons six other Quentanna's from other timelines when invoked, who remain in this timeline for 1 turn. Attacks on Quentanna might (d7 roll) hit one of the copies instead. When they vanish there is a 1% chance it's an alternate Quentanna who remains.
    2. Ekim’s Mystical Mask drains your Stamina by 1d3 on use
    3. Magic Missile failure in a fight causes a d10 roll. On a 1-4 time rewinds to the beginning of the fight, on a 5-10 fast forwards to the end (I'll random roll the entire thing)
    4. Invoke Patron is rolled with a d24, not a d20

Necro and sKeith pick a lucky weapon that your luck bonus effects.

Necro you'll need to give two signature mighty deeds (one for your shield, one for your sword). This is basically the mighty deed you do if you can't think of anything or nothing else seems relevant.

Same for you sKeith, but just one.

If you want me to random roll it, just say so.

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,558 ✭✭✭✭Fourier

    Magic location:
Note Banjo that magic can vary by location, i.e. Fireball is stronger near a massive bonfire, Cold spells are more powerful on snow capped mountains. Your Invoke patron would be stronger in forests.

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,558 ✭✭✭✭Fourier

    Laser Guns and Gholduzin:
Laser Guns do d10 damage and you are considered trained with them. All guns have six shots left.

The glow Gholduzin absorbed turned him into a gun battery. For each 1HP you choose to remove from Gholduzin a gun regains two shots.

Whirling Dwarven Fury for the sword.

    Skull Crusher for the shield.

    Hope they work!
