I have to say, I instantly liked it, I get why it won.

There was such a mismatch between the jury votes and the public votes - you'd have to wonder if the system is really working.

Jaysus, there's some level of misogyny from posters. Not everyone complaining, mind, I fully get a lot of people don't like the song and the style of music.

But the attacks on her looks? Wow. Horrid and toxic.

    See ya next year.

Looks a typical winner of this competition to me from what I've seen of it in recent years (not alot)

loud, hugely over the top, camp, glitzy ...did I mention loud , Ireland just can't do this kind of music

It's a pity this isn't based on musical talent because Estonia was definitely the best

? Didn't think they were great personally. The quirky acts usually do well.

The UK gave us 10 points.
And what did Ireland give UK considering what happened to the contestant while she was singing???

Have you ever been there? It is a very diverse country. Visited Tel Aviv ten years ago and it was the most openly gay city I have ever visited. They were accepting diversity well before Ireland was.

Well, they do have religious discrimination enshrined in its Basic Laws. But outside of that they accept some diversity I guess.

A terrorist state that isn't in Europe wins a song contest for countries, what a crazy world.

It is indeed time to refine our 'pull out game'

I knew we should have sent Dustin to the show as a middle finger to Eurovision before dropping it.

Sweden was worse for me and was also in the running. Only sure thing for me is if I like a song it will be near the bottom. Should have celebrated different by watching Predator.

The jury votes were bollocks though. Austria?

She could be a very nice person, we don't know her.

Can people now agree that bookies odds in UK & Ireland are not a true reflection of the reality but how people here are betting.

UK did crap in public vote despite odds dropping after stage incident.

Ireland did crap despite dropping in odds after "leaked" jury results.

Cyprus as favourites did not win.

    Europe wasn’t ready for Dustin.

    He'll yeah

We'll have to send him out again.

Would have been a right twist if at the end they revealed the winners were actually from the bottom up. :)

Austria was the third country and was still in contention at the time.

Public votes all added together and given out last.
If done the other way around the result would have been the same.

I personally think it's more exciting end unpredictable this way.

Finally, it's only the Eurovision, no need to get so upset.

So did Austria have no votes from the public? I thought they only hsd two votes to give out? Ah, i'm only upset cos I watched this nonsense.

Damn it, Donie. You did it again.

Again, except if you're a Palestinian.

There are raab judges, policemen, in fact arabs have more freedoms in Israel that their terrorist leaders Hamas will allow them.
Try coming out in Gaza and see who you get on

Ireland should have lost the sax solo.
