I watched the Kilkenny finals today on TV and thought that the ref seemed to let them got on with it. From all accounts, that's not the case here in Cork.

This then hurts us when we play intercounty hurling.

Massive upset. On paper Sars would be streets ahead of them. Sars were shocking tonight

Standard of reffing in Cork is soft by default, has been for years.,
Nice to see Erin's Own beat their neighbours, Glen should still take them in the semi.

Glad I didn’t go to bookies. I’d have had Sars senior as a banker

This day 30 years ago we beat Meath in the All Ireland to win the Double.

My first All Irelsnd final. Barely remember it was only wee lad but still remember Larry lifting the trophy.

My first ever hurling memory was my old fella bringing me into Kent Station and being lifted up to hold on to the black railings as the team bus went by.

Some weeks later Sam was brought to my primary school, glory days

I was in the Canal end (no ticket my Dad squeezed through the turnstile with the two of us!!! those were the days). Similar to Kew, great day...

I was in Croker for both.
What an amazing feeling it was, I remember it as if it was yesterday.
Liam was under one arm already but Meath were in the way of Sam.
I also remember the feeling of losing to them in 87 and 88 - Tommy bloody Sugrue- so there was a huge feeling of revenge also.
The road to Croker was well worn those days for a Cork fan!!
What a moment. What a feeling. Words really cant explain it, literally on cloud nine going back down O'Connell Street.
The crowd from Cork was unreal and the welcome home party was one to be remembered.

Great minor game. Couple of SARS goals kept them ahead but once the Barrs got motoring in the second half, there was only ever going to be one winner. Barrs in particular have a few beautiful hurlers with such a strong family history aswell, Kennedy, Doolin, Cunningham to name but a few.

Cork minors will be hard to beat.

Forwards will get the praise but Ben O'Connor at 6 was superb. Still U16.
