A well and truly deserved All Ireland for Kanturk. They battled right through the campaign.

Cork 1-6 Dublin 2-5. Eimear Scally penalty after 2 min our goalscorer

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,438 ✭✭✭The White Feather

Corks defence is terrible tonight. Dublin practically walking the ball into the net at will.

Dublin 3-5 Cork 1-6 at the mo

Dublin 3-9 Cork 1-14 FT. Were 8 behind after 40min but finished strongly

Good comeback from Cork to end up losing by a point.

Awful goals given away by Cork.

I seem to say this every womens game but the standard of refereeing is terrible. They are always overweight. He didn't keep up with play and generally gave strange frees a lot to both sides. The ladies games deserve better refs.

It's quite rare to see a fit ref that keeps up with play in the women's game, quite disappointing really.

Cork 2-11 Louth 0-10 FT. Ruairi Deane point after 50min our last score until a Cian Kiely goal in inury time put a bit of gloss on the scoreline. finished the game with 13 men too

Was that Cian Kiely's debut? Can't say I remember him playing before, was fairly impressed with him.

Some dire football from Cork in the 2nd half. The scoreline is flattering.

was the game not over before half time , ? hard for players to kick on when 1-09 to 0-04 points up at half time

Performed well in the first half but most of the second was appalling. I'd agree that it's hard to kick on when up that much but it's become a pattern in Cork football to fall asleep for 15-20 minutes and give up a rake of points, that issue really needs resolving.

    Today is Valentines day.

    It's also Ash Wednesday.

The last time this happened was in 1945 and Cork won the All-Ireland in the football.....

    Tipp won the hurling.

What are the odds on this happening again this year?!!

Congrats to CBS Mitchelstown who beat Cashel CS 2-14 to 0-19 in the Senior B Final

Sounds like a very exciting end to this game.Level at the end of normal time and Mitchelstown put over a free. Then Cashel got a free but missed to get the draw.Sport is very cruel sometimes.
