White has been criticised plenty in the past for running into traffic & getting turned over

This Is a missunderstanding by many that eliminating back passing or hand passing will refuse the negativity in the game.

The problem in the modern game is more deep rooted. The tactic of getting virtually everyone back when you lose possession this clogs up the space inside the 45M line. Add to this the persistence fouling or holding up of a player who is trying to counterattack. Not sure will 4 point for a goal solve it either.

YYou really need to remove 6+ players from inside the 45 attackers and defenders. Outlawing the backpass to the goalie isn't going to solve the congestion around the scoring area.

Murphy's man was constantly getting 4-5 yards on him. Murphy has neither speed or physical presence. Personally I think he is the weakest link at present.

Moynihan dose a lot of work. However we lack a significant amount of physical presence in the middle third of the team. Brosnan is not great either his decision making is poor.

Banning passing back to the keeper would encourage teams to press from the front. High risk, high reward.

Banning back pass to the keeper would help but I feel easily gotten around by passing forward to the keeper.

The sweeper is the biggest issue imo

    How to address this idk

anybody know the story in relation to tickets for Saturday evening? I’m hoping to go with the kids, upper Cusack in the corner is all that is available on Ticketmaster

Give it a few days, Ticketmaster are just trying to flog the shite seats first. I’d expect the upper Hogan to be released in the next couple of days

Cant get juvenile tickets in the hogan. I was hoping the cusack ones would be available by now. I only started looking Monday maybe they are gone

ticket selection still abominable for anyone looking to bring juveniles, surely the cusack can’t be sold out?

We got nice tickets in 732 of the Hogan earlier. Great view of everything up there.

I'd imagine Cusack is full of season tickets and club tickets in the lower tiers

No issue getting good hogan tickets but the €10 juvenile tickets aren’t available there, if it was one child I’d nearly pay full price but I have three to bring

May have to just settle for upper Davin. For previous semis I always waited and good Cusack tickets came available on Wednesday/ Thursday but given the game is tomorrow I’m guessing what is on sale now is what is available

Apologies. Didn't realise it was kids tickets. Yeah, upper davin seems only ones available unfortunately

The upper Davin is not the worst, and 714 at the bend between Davin and the Cusack is pretty decent if you are near the front.

It will do but would much prefer the Cusack obviously

Left it too late it seems

The spark is really gone out of football, theres little or no talk about this game, not just here but anywhere really. Wonder if a big crowd will head up? Its quite the journey for what could prove to be a defensive 70 mins
Ive had to travel to Dublin alot in the last few weeks, couldnt face into the journey again and if we're lucky enough to reach the final then il watch from the comfort of my sitting room.
On saying all that, best of luck to Jack and the lads today and safe travels to those making the trip

I expect a fairly small crowd from Kerry by comparison to Armagh. The spark has indeed gone out of football. It has become fairly hard to watch with so many games being fairly shite overall. Zero excitment for the most part.

I think with Dublin winning so much and the defensive style of play, that interest has dropped off a lot.

I think in the 90s 8 different teams won and there was real excitement.

And too many meaningless games, round Robin nonsense, compact championship....over in July

There is constant overlap in sports now, rugby season doesn't finish officially until today, euro final followed by Olympic games followed by premiership again late August

I think it's because so many counties have nothing to hope for.

Leinster has a big population but no county can compete with Dublin.

At least in Munster counties have hurling.

In Ulster most counties are competitive.

Hoping Kerry win today by any means necessary tbh. Been boring to watch so far but they've been winning. And hopefully that shows the experience of running the ball into full contact like we did against Tyrone in 2021 doesn't work.

Another solid defensive display like the Derry game while keeping the points ticking will do me.

Should also put to bed the narrative that the northern teams still have Kerrys number despite beating Tyrone and Derry en route to the final last year and Derry again this year and hopefully Armagh today.

Great day here today so if both teams try to play summer football, it could be a good game.

I think if we stop Armagh scoring a goal, I think we'll win by a few points.

Armagh are very dangerous on the break and if they score a goal in the final quarter when the game opens up it could be hard to Kerry to respond.

Can't have any complaints about the result, but the biggest concern would be our fitness levels - we seemed to be dead on our feet with ten minutes left in normal time, and in truth the final margin flattered us. The shot selection in extra time proved decisive, so overall, much food for thought this winter.

Should easily have been 7 or 8 points up in the second half. It was awful watching it unfold

This gors back to the league match against Derry. Jack made wrong decisions that night and has continued all year long. He has carried passengers all year long and carried them today

Very flat from the 2022 champions, armagh full value

Beaten by the better team throughout. This kerry team have been over hyped since 2019. Where we go from here I've no idea

the desire just isnt there with our lads… happy enough with their lot it seems… couple all ireland minor medals and a senior from 2 yrs ago… they look like they dont want to win anymore…

Kerry and Jack O Connor keep repeating the same mistakes and end up with the same result. Very nieve and when Kerry were on top we did not press the advantage home. We need to look at the type of players we are picking. We seem to pick the same type of players in our defence White, O Beaglaoich, Murphy, Tom O Sullivan all very similar. There isn't enough focus on the clubs that aren't producing county players and why aren't they? There are large parts of North Kerry and South Kerry with no players. Biggish clubs like Desmonds, Ballymac, St Mary's, Listowel, Laune Rangers not represented. A lot of food for thought.
