    If I gift someone a months membership from here in Ireland to the USA will it go smoothly and she can sign up to spotify and have a month of music?

    Not really sure what you're asking, but it sounds a bit convoluted. She'd be better signing up herself and creating her own Spotify account from the US. You could gift her the cost of one month's subscription to her PayPal account if you like.
