I am on a list to get this in the next couple of days but I have never had spotify before, should I wait to get the details from the user before setting up an account or should I start the trial version which is what I get if I sign up. Sorry newbie here, only used deezer before

I'm not sure I thought I had to send you the link and then you set up the account, this could be wrong. But I know all the address have to be exactly the same, Ill read though the thread for the exact steps later on.

You have paid but can the rest of the members message me with there reference as I have 2 others paid and want to make sure who's paid and notify them.

I had a trial account for a few weeks and then joined a family and it just seamlessly switched to the full version

Absolutely. The head of the family will just add you as a member with your Spotify email address.

Did this last year with some guys on this thread. Annual just ran out so I'm looking to orgnaise it again. Will drop a few PMs now to people with spaces.

For anyone concerned about getting ripped off PayPal allows you to claim back if something goes wrong so it's the safest way to do it.

This thread is close to 100 pages long and to the best of my knowledge there hasn’t been a single instance of someone ripping someone else off, I appreciate where your coming from but are we now going to be casting doubt over anyone who goes to the bother of setting up a family acc on here now.

Many thanks to the whole year inn, spotify is up and running perfectly for me the last few days. I'm loving it

Just a heads up - PayPal will not allow you to claim back if you send money via the friends and family option, which is what is required here for this deal to work.

Having said that, as someone has already mentioned, no one here on thread has flagged up being done so far. I set up my own family a while back and all was/is well I will be doing it again (or joining someone else's) when renewal time comes around.

€30 for a year's ad-free music is an absolute bargain, while not a huge loss if the worst were to happen.
