Forster, (Elliot)

Kompany, Kolasinac, Bailly (Yedlin) (Long)

Zaha, KDB, JWP, Fabregas/Willian (will decided after C Shield) (Carroll)

Kane, Lukaku, Austin

Happy enough with it except for the inclusion of 3 Soton players, their good start notwithstanding. But JWP and Austin could offer excellent value and Forster seems like a safe way into their defence. In all likelihood, I will most likely drop one of them, just not sure where yet.

Long term lurker, first time poster to the FF thread.

Would appreciate any opinions on my team below :

Goalkeepers : De Gea (Elliot)

Defenders : Trippier Bailly Hegazi Bellerin (Morgan)

Midfielders : Ramsey Alli DeBruyne Loftus-Cheek (Ndidi)

Forwards : Jesus Lukaku (Rodriguez)

Happy enough with it but may swap out either or both of my Arsenal players depending upon performance in the charity shield.

I'd also like to fit in a Southampton player or two, given their opening fixtures but no one seems to be sure of who is a nailed on starter in their defence.

Stephens was a good servant for me at the end of last season and I'd be surprised if hes not starting again. I seem to remember he scored a nice few BPs too so hoping for more of the same again. I always try to have 1 ex Rovers player in my starting lineup too, so thats why Duffy is there and rotation wise, Brighton are not too bad. Duffy is a good attacking threat too. Mee - because busts said so.

I don't actually want Lukaku in my team. I just hate him, but I have the fear about so many other people owning him that I'm concerned I'll miss out on hauls. I feel if he doesnt score in his first two games, I'll be moving him on and looking towards Morata hopefully.

Ramsey for me, when Arsenal switched to a back three it freed him up to play a bit further up the field and he looked a bit more like the player of a couple of seasons ago and the one who plays for Wales!

If you're only going to play 3 in midfield, I'd downgrade Mooy to a 4.5 and put the 1.0 to a better fourth defender than mawson or ogbonna.

You confident with double Southampton defence, even with their run of games?

What about a bench fodder defender and use the 0.5 for de gea to cover utd defence

Thanks for feedback. Spoke to Utd and pool fans and they were sure Mhky and Lallana would start. Burnley fans are raving about Waters according to this page and Sterling is the only slight starting risk I think but at €2m less the KDB I can monitor that one

I'm ideally not going with an early wildcard. Your idea is somewhat appealing (I'd considered it also) but I'm terrified Newcastle will sign some big name goalkeeper over the course of the weekend of Gameweek 1 and theres me ripping up my plans to trying to sort out my goalkeeping situation for Gameweek 2.

Have totally revamped my team this morning, think this is close to what ill be going in with  (unsure of the double liverpool attack threat firmino/salah but theyve looked good in pre season)

Pogba Salah Zaha KDB     (Carroll)
Lukaku Firmino Gabbiadini

Firmino is really starting to draw my attention.

I expect Liverpool to start the season strongly and he could be a steal at 8.5M.

I was planning on going Aguero or Kane + Lukaku and a 7m or less 3rd striker but now I have a new headache.

Downgrade foster to Elliot to save .5 ml . You will play de gea every week and there is a great chance Elliot is also a starter now
Midfield is fine but personally I'm waiting on Salah......
I just don't like firmino as a forward option . He was ok when an OOP midfielder but he just won't score enough as a striker for his price and all the other options available .
And Gabbi.......no just no! Austin is just as or even more likely to start up front for same team and is able to take penalties and all for .5 less

No spurs or Chelsea attackers..........
