A better exit for Niamh would have been the fraud squad arriving at her door Dermot ( remember him?) having spilt the beans on their fraudulent activities. Deegan could have shown them where she lives :)

Clelia Murphy has protected her twitter which seems a bit odd.

The soap will be much better without Niamh. To be fair she had reached the end of the road and its just a shame that Paul/Delores and Carol aren't going with her. Those characters are predictable and boring by now.

I agree with Nagdefy, FC actually HAS improved this past year- interesting characters like Melanie and Karen give it a fresh perspective plus the cult story was paced perfectly, and although the story dipped when they put too much emphasis on Hannah plus the moving of location was a bit unexpected, its still a well acted (Manson is a great actress) and 100% original story and I'm still intrigued as to what will happen and I'm hoping it wont just fizzle away to some stupid climax of Miriam being driven out of town after being caught robbing 50euros, that would be awful. I still don't think this is about money- its way too much investment for too little return.

Sadly the crap between Damien and Caoimhe and the endless Kerri Ann stuff makes FC crap at the same time. Damien is an awful scumbag of a character, shifting around with his massive head starting fights with his shadow for no reason at all, is that really all there is to him? The actor must be embarrassed playing this part. And Kerri Ann is a complete pain in the a%%. Just tell Decco and move on, really nobody cares at this stage.

Did anybody else see Clelia Murphy on Nowhere Fast on Monday night?
I also noticed in the credits and I think her daughters name was mentioned!

I'm well disappointed if that's it for Niamh. It's all a bit sudden, like her exit was hastily written into the show.

I'll be sad to see her go, her and her clip clop heels and tie belted coat.

Like a previous poster said, an arrest for misappropriation of funds or for acting in collusion with Dermot would be a better exit.

Interested to see where the Damo anger story is going, should be a major Christmas story I'd think?

I hope someone stabs him at Christmas and we never have to see his miserable big puss again. I hope the money is worth is Maclean Burke!

Yes, a stab in the neck, if they can find it.

I know I'm more of a lurker who enjoys reading the posts and the banter of the regular posters, but for some reason I couldn't sign in on my usual account (I just posted occasionaly on that one), but watching the whole Robbie/Karen/Aoife storyline got me to thinking. What if it was a thing that Dan raped Aoife, resulting in Karen's conception; hence her reluctance to tell Karen the truth about her father? What if a sense of completely misplaced shame caused her to leave Robbie? Remember, if earlier storylines are anything to go by, Dan wasn't always the nice guy he is now...... Just my tuppence worth. ....

I watch it, I didn't notice Neimh in it, her daughter is in it but I can't figure out who she is...

Neimh is going to be on one of those dancing shows.

Yeah I said that ages ago.

Don't know if FC would go down that road with an established character though, unless they're getting rid of him.

I missed that post. :) Then again, Dan is a bit of a non-character of late with no proper storylines. He's more of a ''filler character'' than anything else. He just shows up to listen to the relationship problems of of everyone else, then orders a pint, reads the newspaper and disappears again. Maybe the actor has gotten bored of playing the same old broken record role and wants to leave on a controversial note. Who knows; but judging by the expression on Aoife's face when Robbie mentioned that Dan lived locally, it looked more fearful and edgy rather than guilty to me, and she can't get back up home to Belfast quick enough.... And then there was the way he spoke about her when Robbie told him what was going on with the whole Karen saga; he basically called her a s****er and more or less implied that she had slept with half the barracks. Maybe by painting her the ''loose woman'' he was taking any possible future heat of himself in case Aoife told Robbie what really happened, thus discrediting her accusations. But maybe that'll be part of FC's Christmas storyline. I know Fair Cirty is a bit of a laugh (and completely daft but addictive) most of the time, but it would make for a much better story than Bunion Kelly/power cuts/Xmas lights on the blink, etc. :)

Yep, I copped Niamh but didn't notice her daughter in the credits. My defence is that I was flicking channels late at night after consuming 2 large G&Ts.
Has Niamh left ? Is that it ?

So Damiens brother just turns up in full army gear on a sunday afternoon, I mean surely he would have changed for the trip down to Carrickstown? And in true soap tradition, he just happens to interrupt at the exact moment Caoimhe was about to say something important. Who writes that crap?

Had to laugh at poor Debbie, her house has been completely transformed into a cults haven, how will Katy respond?

No Niamh? Maybe Thursday was her last scene so..? Utterly bizarre if so.

The 4 burgers were the stars of the show tonight. The extra flipping them wasn’t so smooth though.

The cult seems to have expanded to about 20 people out of nothing with Eoghan being told to shush in his own house.

Mark turning up in full gear for a week. Defence forces aren’t supposed to wear the uniform off duty. More good research from the writers.

And where did Aoife get Dans number from??
