No I hear what you're saying. I suppose my gripe is her promoting this health conscious image and yet there is nothing healthy about sticking glue (which isn't even covered by any regulations in that industry) onto, for e.g. eyelashes.

I have had mine done every 3 weeks for 4 years. I haven't noticed any adverse health effects, I must say. My opthalmologist friend tells me the only gripe they have with eyelash glue is with the very cheap lashes (the salons that offer full mink lashes for 25e etc), or with allergic reactions. But these are no more unhealthy than fake nails/hair dye/tan.

But I digress. I just want the girl to #ad!!

I'd be more concerned about her having a platform to spout absolute nonsense like gluten gives you autism. But that's just me.

No way! Did she say that?!

As a nutrition advisor, she should know that eating a gluten free diet when you are not a celiac can be quite unhealthy

She refuted that she'd made the autism and schizophrenia claims but she did originally assert her belief that these serious illnesses were linked to gluten.

    https://www.google.ie/amp/amp.breakingnews.ie/showbiz/rosanna-davison-receives-backlash-after-arthritis-autism-and-schizophrenia-comments-692702.html

She also told a little anecdote re; her husband, Wes. She said he had joint pain and swelling for a few weeks but then these symptoms improved with a gluten free diet. She linked the symptoms to Rheumatoid Arthritis.

Wes was NOT diagnosed with RA. He underwent no investigations for RA. He saw a physio apparently. It was scandalous to suggest that his symptoms (that may well have been due to overdoing it at the gym or a post-viral reactive arthropathy) were "cured" by changing his diet. She'd want to meet someone with RA and see exactly how terribly they can struggle at times. It is debilitating.

And the LAST thing autism needs is more lies peddled about its cause in the press.

I know! Pure waffle. There is absolutely no reason not to eat gluten unless you're intolerant.

Awful! And using acedotal evidence to prop up her belief that gluten cures RA is very concerning. Someone needs to remind her that correlation doesn't imply causation!
Really irresponsible for her to spout this crap.

Wow! Can't believe she said that!

She must have used dr.google and came to the conclusion he had arthritis. Sure if we all believed what dr.google said we'd all have cancer or be pregnant

Joanne Larby just announced she's the new Irish face of Dibi Milano, which is apparently a famous Italian skincare brand.

She seems like an odd choice given that it's fairly impossible to determine what her skin actually looks like with the amount of face tune etc. Everyone uses either the beauty filter on the selfie camera on their phone or an insta filter, but her photos don't look like normal skin texture at all anymore.

In fairness, the Italian fb page has 47k followers.

But the top 3 brands in Italy are Borghese, La Mer and L'oreal.

I presume throwing in "professional" skincare brand gives some poetic licence. Sigh.

Never heard of them, just Googled stockists and seems no one else has either!!
I can't find anywhere that stocks it here or in the UK... Or anywhere apart from the company themselves.

Was just coming on to say I've never heard of this brand. However, i may be totally wrong, but was Grace given some of this skin care stuff recently by that pharmacy to try? I vaguely remember that bottle with the little white balls turning up somewhere??

Also, the amount of skincare products that bloggers chop and change, no wonder a few of them have such bad skin recently.

To be honest, her skin sees way too much sun. It gets very burnt every holiday and summer. I get anxious looking at it. I'm sure she was chosen based on follower numbers/blogger/influencer availability.

(I say as I sit at home in my onesie covered in E45.)

If they are so big in Italy, how come they don't have an instagram page for Italy - there's an Irish one and US one.

For Gods sake. Nobody knows what her skin looks like as it's facetuned beyong belief. They've made a terrible choice picking her, she over filtered and photoshops anything, if anything, she's gonna damage their reputation...

I've read, pretty sure on Boards, that Fairy is on the sunbeds at least once a day.
No amount of skincare is going to prevent what she's in for, her skin will be like a leather handbag by the time she's 40.

Skin to match her designer handbags so!

Imagine though she dragged this colab with an unknown skin company out as if it was going to be some massive deal! Such a big fuss over nothing.

She's going to launch the brand in Ireland even though shes based in England?
That seems a bit backwards or is it just me? Cound they not find anyone else, or maybe it was already half agreed when she moved

It seems very random as I've never gotten the idea she had any interest in skin care - certainly with the amount of tanning she does it wouldn't seem she cares about her skin at all.
Even when she shows her packing to go away it's all make up and very little skin care, actually the only thing I've every noticed her having is a sample bottle of pixi glow, she doesn't have any really good skin care products at all or ever talk about it.
Someone like the beautiful truth who is regularly going for treatments would make more sense.

I think tignam is on board too which I'll be surprised with if she's "the face" of a new brand after months of promoting nimue

Tignam has been showing off a brand of random creams the past few weeks... a hand cream here a body moisturiser there... nicest cream I've ever used smelt blah blah blah... I have a strong feeling thats what she's going to be working with today...
I've never heard of the brand and never seen it before it just came out of nowhere... She's so desperate to make some money from her snapchat...its embarrassing to watch really the way she goes on. Especially with her interior Tuesday's! Constantly stating I don't get paid for this hint hint at all the brands I'm constantly plugging

Funny how it was never mentioned until she became brand ambassador!? Most influencers thag have become brand ambassadors you have seen use or at least mention the product first! This is also the thing she stopped the fitness comp for I'd say! She mentioned she had alot of travel for a new contract she signed and said she is going to Milan and ireland for the launch.
She did mention she couldn't wait to show what she was using in her skin while she was in Italy. Presume that was after her meetings over there!! Maybe I'm wrong but just looks suss!

How is she going to promote skincare she filters everything that's madness

I don't believe she stopped the fitness comp for this. I believe the main reason is because she hadn't a hope in hell of getting into shape for it especially with the way HE was coaching her with the whole ice cream is good for you diet. I'd say she would take any work at this stage as she has being doing very little, or so it appears since she made the move. To have dramatized the reveal of this colab is a bit embarrassing actually. Sue is adding to her beauty range left right and centre (even though half the stuff is crap she is still going forward rather than being at a stand still) and this one acts like she's landed a gig on the moon by becoming an ambassador for an unknown skincare brand. What happened to her Misfit brand ambassador gig? There was nothing like the tea and the D with her at one stage and now nothing. What happened to the teeth whitening company Spot Light she was affiliated with? Does she not get repeat gigs with companies?

Wasn't she also the face of some jewellery company a while ago. It looks like that fizzled out as well.
The picture for the new skincare gig is awful...she's covered in makeup. Usually for skincare the picture is fresh faced i.e. you shouldn't need much make up if you use our product!

Sorry I should have said this was the reason she gave as to why she wasn't doing it but I completely agree with you as to the real reason!! As much as she has changed her body she wasn't any where near the stage! I don't think she has that type of body? If she really wanted to she could have done both! Siobhan OH did lots of travel and still managed prep and did her show!
She was the same before she had some mega announcement and she was going on about it for ages and it was something silly! I saw someone question her about the Miss fit and she said she is not associated with that brand.

Wonder what happened with Misfit. Wonder will she be using brand ambassador hashtag with this new compacompany instead of #ad or #sp
