That's your assumption that I'm looking to penalise. It's too bad the data isn't usefully used to alter the schedules though.

Anyone know how the new route 80 (ex 26) is doing? I used to take it occasionally from Merrion Square to Heuston. Not anymore!

But I'm sure there are alternatives for my next trip that way.

And it isn't just the stops are the problem. Buses going at 20 mph for long periods is just as annoying.

The Bus stop opposite the silver granite has been extended outwards and a zebra crossing put through it for bikes. Because of this traffic now has to wait for cars to turn right on to wheatfield road where as before these stationery cars could be undertaken to continue up kennelsfort road. To do that now you have to go into the cycle lane which most drivers won't do. I've yet to see a bike use the lane. As a consequence during peak hours and school time the traffic backs up kennelsfort road cold cut road and into liffey valley causing delays for the 80 as its caught in the traffic and there can be 3 x 80 in that queue. It's also causing issues for L55 as it sits in the lights at cold cut junction which go from green to red and back without any traffic moving. Traffic was never unusual on kennelsfort but now its beyond ridiculous.

The 82 sign on the stop at Westland row has been covered up all right, BUT isnt there a gap in the bollards to allow the right turn ?

There is no way a bus could fit through that gap. It’s far too tight. A wider gap would just be an invite to cars to sneak in.

Better to put the 82 with the regional services at stop 100111.

The 82 has apparently been covered up. As a first timer at the stop I had no way of knowing what the patch is covering!

Considering it would have been be a doddle to have removed the hard copy timetable at the same, leads a reasonable observer to deduce the patch is over something else.

The operators set the initial schedules, including the stop-to-stop running times. Not the NTA.

I don't know where you're getting your information (though I can hazard a guess) but you are wrong.

That's not what was said by the scheduling manager in a Dublin Bus social media post.
