Well done to posters all who ran 26.2 miles to their graduation ceremony today. Fair to say I think it could have shredded a few, even with experience. Tough, but proud and well earned. Get your smiles on!

Massive well done to everyone who finished today. We were down at Terenure cheering people on and I mentioned to my son that they still had 10 miles or so left. He said but they're so tired already, and I said yep and they'll keep on fighting until they finish and he said 'wow'. He was so impressed with you all. Well done folks.

Well done everyone today , I think i'm mentally scarred now , last night going to bed I was getting double vision didn't say anything to the wife woke up this morning with room spinning . I was almost a DNS but turned up and went behind the 3.20 pacers , told the wife I would be in at 12.20, the pacers just got away from the start ,I couldn't even run fast enough to catch them. Legs were cramping and I was struggling with energy right from mile 1 at mile 5 seen my bro and his kids and was close to tears. Everything everyone said here was spot on high 5 kids etc the crowds are amazing , it was a suffer-fest , the 3 guys (if they post here that paced 3.20 absolute legends) kept it fun and encouraging ,I couldn't even speak to them I was holding in vomiting the whole way , between the pacers and thinking of my family waiting for me and at 12.20 I came in 12.19 , broke down in tears then spent the next hour getting sick . Massive respect to everyone today that ran that and whatever journey they went on , I'm only coming around now starting to eat small amounts .
Ps how messed up are you when you get to 18miles and can't calculate how many miles are left I literally could not subtract 26.2 from 18 another time I had a 10 minute debate with myself if a marathon is 24.6 miles or 26.6 miles ( genuinely couldn't remember)

Some day today. Support was unreal. Came in just over 3.23, pretty happy. More detailed report later.

Wow. I can't stop crying. I ran a marathon. I can't believe it. What an amazing experience. Mental. The crowds, the support, the sunshine!!

I am so so so proud of me right now.

And so so so bloody appreciative of all of you on here who have got me to this point. I don't know where to start, I really don't.... I'm lost for words right now.

I'm sorry I couldn't stay in Mcgrattans for longer but I hope everyone has a great time celebrating their achievements.

I still can't believe it. Anyone else wearing their medal to bed tonight??
