The Islamic worlds ambivalent take on underage sex might have something to do with it.

    FYP

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

And which part of the Islamic world made them drink and take drugs?

No but you're posting on a website based in a country where the state colluded with the Catholic Church to protect paedophiles.

And now at last those evil scumbags are being held accountable. Too late to save their victims but it is being talked about all over the world. In the same way anything like it in other communities should be talked about so maybe it can be prevented in future.

Very true - but who many people potrayed it widely as bring endemic - or 'ambivalent' to quote another postet - of Catholuc Irish society?

Presumably parts they didn't care about, it's almost as if we have an excuse to not consider them 'proper' Muslims...which means there isn't a sexual violence problem YAY!

Nowadays Press TV is banned in the UK.

    Really? How free.

It wasn't ignored in England. Far from it. How do you think they got them into court?
The British Press have been talking about this case for years.
It is a sensitive subject and you can't convict without evidence - you can't even prosecute without evidence.

Yeah, they were a shower of scumbags. And Muslims don't approve of this conduct any more than you or I do. So steady on, and less of the racist, anti-religious kneejerks, please.

It waa in fact ignored for years. In particular the Rotherham investigations were stymied by politically correct local councillors and police.

Oh so your assertion is they rape because of the parts of their religion they care about, but drinking and taking drugs is because they don't care about other parts?
    Riiiight!!

Maybe religion has nothing to do with it. Rape happens all the time. It's almost as if you're giving them an excuse for their behaviour...

Shocker - People selectively interpreting their religion, taking and using parts they can benefit from and caring not so much for the parts that they can't use; such an utterly inconceivable prospect...

But no, maybe it's as you say, religion has nothing to do with it as presumably it has nothing to do people blowing themselves up in the name of religion, they're simply acting out some other geopolitical concerns and are too stupid to realize it. Heaven forfend the ridiculous possibility that it might have something to do with it.

You really hate the Brazilians huh? Clearly it's not equivalent. The priests were breaking both canon and actual law.

Anyway I agree this wasn't all muslim. It was however racist.

Why then don't all Muslims rape?
Why do people rape that are not Muslim?

It's unbelievable that people are giving rapists an excuse for rape.

Honestly, I think it is more to do with attitudes towards "white girls" from many in the Asian community in the UK, not so much religion. They are seen as easy pickings, asking for it because of how they dress or because they drink or take drugs etc. doesn't help that a lot of the authorities also have this attitude, especially towards poorer girls or girls in the care system who are already troubled. They aren't seen as deserving of help, only blame

I posted on another thread a couple of weeks ago about just how many of these grooming rings that have been uncovered so far, it's in double figures and probably only the tip of the iceberg. These girls are being failed on a huge scale

Feminists aren't a hive mind. Many have condemned it. Of course, they are then accused of islamophobia and no platformed so you probably don't get to hear about it

I take it we're doing the 'lets make statements as ridiculous as I think yours are' thing?

If you want to go excuse rapists I suggest you look to your own arguments, goodness knows how many years local government in places like Rotherham spent so concerned with not appearing racist that they would simply ignore accusations of rape.

Singh is absolutely a Sikh name so you could be right.

You know Sikhs aren't Muslims, right?

I tell you what, if this account doesn't work out for you, you should definitely re-reg and post the same boring sh*te over and over again.

Better still, you could join forces with far-right extremist political groups that can't even reach 0.0001% of the vote in a general election, and spam irrelevant right wing sh*te that nobody cares about on the first page of after hours.

That's definitely the best way to go. That 0.0001% will be 0.00011% in no time.

There are several things going on here, not mutually exclusive: a culture of exploitation of children in care, a culture of targeting white girls, possibly a culture of devaluing women born of a male dominated world or religious belief that enables that, a culture of people not doing their job. The last one is where it's all lost: why isn't there a PC Plod who follows the facts wherever they lead and doesn't give a ****.

The answers: look in this country at Sgt Maurice McCabe, look at the pc nonsense that passes for rational examination of issues. A modern society confident in the rule of law superior to all religions, superior to who you know, superior to political correctness would end a lot of this stuff before it got started.

At least in the U.K. if found guilty they stand to serve appropriately long prison terms, if it was here in Ireland they would probably just get suspended sentences and asked not to do it again.
As for their ethnic background, who gives a flying fcuk, evil scumbags are evil scumbags, wherever they come from. The Catholic church in up there in top part of the league table when it comes to child abuse as well and not enough people taken to task about it.

In some of their countries of origin not only would they not do a day in jail but the victims would be prosecuted for "adultery". Just sayin.
