Just about to catch up on Friday's show..... SURELY it has to be Angelica and Henri to go through...???

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2, Paid Member Posts: 31,968 ✭✭✭✭HeidiHeidi

    Now, see..... I'm suspicious.....

I've got as far as Angelica in the skills test, and how come all of them knew to serve the chillis whole as a garnish on the kebab, and not chop them and cook them into the kofta/hummus/bread? Eh?

Given that they all professed to not really know what they were at, that's a bit of stretch to my credibility!

Have to say though, my mouth is watering at the sight of all that hummus - I love hummus!!!

Jesus, I'd KILL Julia if I had to work with her

Possibly closely followed by Henri! (much as I love him)

What's with the lack of veggies in the final meal cooked for the previous winner?

    Stodgerama!

(except Henri's, who has redeemed himself in this round!)

It was ok,calling them celebrities is a bit far fetched.I hadn't heard of Henri Leconte since he played tennis in the 1980's,but himself and Angellica were the best, well ahead of Julia and Jim.

To be fair, I know probably 70% of this year's line up. Very reality TV light for once.

Just caught up. I feel sorry for Jim. I'd enjoy sitting down with him and his simple food. There was nothing that wasn't Jim there.

Julia - meh. That fish infused risotto seemed an awful waste of fish.

Henri - He can cook, but I'm not warming to him.

Angelica - Sort out the small errors and you could have a winner in her. She's more likeable than Henri too IMHO.

    Bring on next week.

Agreed. But not really MC quality all the same.

Absolutely! I hope she did something useful with the fish afterwards  Was much relieved by the judges' reactions ("what? where's the bloody fish???") compared to John's "OMG, this is soooo inspired"!

Yeah, I was a HUGE fan of him playing tennis, but he's just getting a bit annoying in the kitchen.

She's fiercely competitive!!! Will be interesting when it gets to the next stage if she meets her match!

    Bring on next week.

    watched it afterall..

Henri was less annoying and did well.. will miss Jim though..

Angelica is a doat - like watching her and not a bad chef..

Won't miss Julia, she was rude and defensive to Angelica in the lunch task - and not a great cook.. leaving out the fish ffs

The Lunch was a massive though eh?

Debbie McGee is on it this week - and has just been announced for Strictly! She will be in Im A Celeb next!

She might have picked up a few tips from Paul. She puts a chicken in the oven, opens it after 35 minutes and some doves fly out. :)

She could do with a bit of the late great Paul's magic so far tonight.

The words "Tyger is grappling with his duck" seemed more fitting on Planet Earth. :)

Bit behind tonight, only on the skills test so far....

WTF is going on with Debbie? Has she put a spell on them or something?

She should never have made it through the Wednesday's round ahead of Tyler in the first place, and after serving up that plate of slop for breakfast, they were "impressed"

And Rachel did by far the best skills test, but yet was ranked last in their chat afterwards???

This is starting to to look like a total set-up!

Christ almighty, can none of them say "tzatziki" properly???

Between Rylan's teeth and Kimberly's lipstick, I nearly had to go and get my sunglasses for that final round!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2, Paid Member Posts: 31,968 ✭✭✭✭HeidiHeidi

Becky smashed that last round out of the park.

    Good girl!

If Debbie knocks one of the others out tonight, I'll be filing a complaint!

I wasn't going to say in case there were any late watchers like me! I hate finding out before I've seen to the end!

Anyway, right result IMO. If Rachel had got her timings less catastrophically wrong, she'd definitely have been in with a shout, her main looked really gorgeous.:P

remind me why Henri got through again? I'll miss Vic..

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,388 ✭✭✭Poochie05

Oh my god, if you thought Henri was annoying, Leslie Garrett is 10 times more annoying!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,350 ✭✭✭Cortina_MK_IV

And the worst bit is she'll burst into song soon.

I don't believe that Barney can only cook beans on toast and the rice thingy..

    Nick can cook for sure

And Ulrika - she is everywhere..
