yes shes about 20,but not a kid,if airline says she was late it means she was, pilots have tight schedules and its obvious she made a huge deal out of mistake that happened to her own fault, since you dont sue someone who gives courtesy of putting one onto next flight, which at worst would been maybe hour or two later.

Ive no clue about MS but was there someone that could just carry her into the plane, since as article says shes into wheelchair only for half a year, not entire life,or broken back.

Anyway whatever sympathy she got seems a sure way to backfire hugely back onto her charity and support site, since any lawyer could take the case up but its a losing one thus only adding to expenses.

I definitely feel like they valued their schedule more than my custom
Do people honestly think the few Euro they pay for a Ryanair flight is even mildly comparable to the amount of money it would cost and the knock-on effects it would bring to delay a plane for one person?! Not just for the airline but for all of the passengers affected by it.

On another forum, a guy wants compensation because his flight was diverted because someone fell ill (costing Ryanair a small fortune) but on landing wasn't really that sick (in his opinion) so it's the pilot's fault for making the call to divert.

She's blocked the comments now on her FB page - id say someone has told her to reign it in with her attitude...how old is she if anyone knows,,, sounds like a whinging teenager

Only on her own page tho, she will still keep it up on her Disability and I page I imagine.

Just read a few more comments and her attitude really is appalling.

This quote really annoys me. She said something similar on facebook about other passengers being more important than her. Other passengers shouldn't pay the price for her fúcking up her booking.
She also said she understands that Ryanair have a schedule, but the captain "pulled off on me" and it's no excuse to leave her behind. How can he do both? That's a perfect excuse to leave her behind.

Ryanair have 1,800 flights per day!
They have on average over 350,000 passengers per day! How many of them have made a mistake somewhere with their booking? If they delayed a plane for everyone that fúcked up their booking, there would be knock on delays across Europe.

i flew wit ryan air back in november, i use a chair, they could not do enough for me, it id the airport athu who boards and unboards the passengers, all ra does is fly, when you arrive at dublin airport you have to contact a desk, yoy will be asked a number of questions one of which is do you need to use the hoist to board, saying that, i requested to go for a coffee, i was wheeled upstairs and was to be collected at a specified time, the chair was taken away once i was seated, i was not collected and has to nearly crawl back down or miss my flight, luckily i had a stick

Instead she said by her own admission, she knew wheelchair users were put on last so she waited until last. She said Ryanairs assertion that she arrived to the gate 13 minutes before departure was false. Lets rephrase it, did she make her needs known to them 13 minutes before departure.

I was wondering about this, so I checked my mail for the notification from Ryanair. It says this:
Your assistance type will be printed on our online boarding pass.
Please ensure that you report to the special assistance desk at your departing airport at least 2 hours before departure.
Customers must report to the departure gate at latest 30 minutes before scheduled departure time.

So she obviously didn't follow the procedure. Not sure what she expected Ryanair to do with 13 minutes notice.

You'd feel dirty defending the big business in something like this but it looks pretty clear cut. Yer one made a balls of the booking, made a balls of either getting there on time or alerting someone to her presence, made a balls of a perfectly reasonable question and then has made a balls of her complaint too.

I know not every industry has the disability needs down to a tee but im general air travel and big tourist attractions do. I know from personal family experience (not wheelchair use) that in situations where you pre alert to an issue you are looked after where ever possible.

the really fun part about all this is that she will now be remembered by those she abused on fb etc.if she ever does anything wrong in the future you can be sure this will be brought up and thrown in her face. she wanted attention, she got it, now she will regret it lol .

She's out of control on Facebook frankly. And not even under her own name - using her 'Disability and I' account to shout people down and hurl abuse at them.

Whatever about her being young and disabled, the way this girl talks to people is absolutely appalling. She wanted to draw attention to the issue and she got plenty but it's not the kind she wanted and now she's having a meltdown. I can't get my head around how badly she's handling this. How could anyone have any sympathy for her after seeing her posts on both her personal Facebook and charity page? She's embarrassing herself. Her family should really intervene.

She only has herself to blame for that in fairness.

Looking at the screenshot she's clearly drunk right? That can be the only explanation.

I'd have sympathy for her reading those posts. She's clearly unhinged and not dealing with things in life well. This could be something she looks back on and regrets.

It seems to me that people are trying, but are being told that they're "disgusting ableists" for doing so.

She deserves everything she gets, imo.

A few of the early posts did say to her to calm down but most were deleted etc. If she had good "friends" then they should have a word but personally looking at it I really dont think she will let this bone down in fairness.

Sounds like someone who has been told all her life by mommy, daddy and extended family that she is a very special princes.
And then she started to believe in that.

Oh god that last comment is hilarious :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
I will no longer be speaking to ableist disgraces. I will be reporting to you for crimes against ableism

I don't if she is being serious or just taking the piss at this stage LOL
She needs to shut her FB page and twitter accounts down, she is not coming out of this well.

It's all starting to feel very voyeuristic at this stage - those who said she sounds drunk and/or unhinged aren't far wide of the mark IMO.

I really hope someone can take her aside and put an end to this now.

and that's the main problem with a lot of the younger generation, being told they're the best, nothing is ever their fault, everybody gets a medal - god I sound old and im not even 30 yet....
