There’s an Aerosmith on DoneDeal if you have 4.5k spare and like listening to dude looks like a lady.

Or for the same money you can get the Getaway on adverts hahaha

Not a Bargain but the Streets of Rage 1 vinyl is back at data discs for £20 in translucent red and standard black.

    https://data-discs.com/products/streets-of-rage

Streets of Rage 2 + 3 is also in stock.

Perfect timing for my rekindled love affair with records.

A fellow Corkman is selling an upgraded Arcade1Up cab for €450 on adverts:

    http://www.adverts.ie/17863201

Would be handy for someone who lacks the skills or has the time to mod one themselves.

I have literally been searching everywhere for the last two weeks for a 28" 4:3 50hz/60hz Sony (within feasible
collection distance) and this never came up when I was searching adverts. Then of course I read your post after it's gone.

Clearly I have been out of the game too long and my search techniques are too rusty.

70's pin in need of a bit of a restore, looks to be a good deal though at 275 euro?

I was the same, I cancelled my pre-order. I'd take a chance at that price, how bad can it be.

It's a grand device once the exploit is installed.

It's not really. The emulation is still way below sub par. Worth tinkering with maybe as a novelty but there's better ways to emulate PS1 games where you don't have to put up with frame pacing issues.

Cant go too far wrong at that price.

It's firmly in the "acceptable price for a display piece" price range at that price. As Cidey says, it's a bit more capable when it's exploited, but still not up to doing PS1 content proper justice.

They have me at that price. It'll be grand for entertaining guests and not having to prick around with digging out the PS1 fat

Selecting Liffey Valley reservation for pickup next week and it's saying not purchased, out of stock but I'm getting an email saying thanks for my reservation but no product is shown...

I know they aren't great but for the novelty and exploit I would like to get one at that price.

Gonna give these a miss for now. If anyone wants a reservation code for 2 in the Ilac let me know and I'll send it to you via pm.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,205 ✭✭✭DaveyDave

What's the reserve date on yours? If nobody takes your ones I may keep an eye out for them coming back into stock.

They're around €40 in Walmart and I didn't think to pick one up while I was there :/

It's a good game but I think the Aerosmith soundbytes might bug me after a while

A Vita TV which uses a MIPS processor for hardware emulation of PS1 and PSP games is the way to go. The true Playstation Classic imo.

Why they didnt put that processor in the PS Classic is beyond me.

Here's an interesting item, Dreamcast dev unit.

    https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/273865567916?ul_noapp=true

On 250 euro for the moment, wonder what it'll go for?

Sonic Mania and Borderlands the Handsome Collection are June's PS plus games, available on Tuesday

That's some pretty solid content right there.
Im going to wait to play Borderlands 2 VR with the aim controller though, haven't played it yet but finished Borderlands 1.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,779 ✭✭✭Jack burton

I only ever played borderlands 1 so looking forward to both those games.

Didn't play sonic mania yet either, I might just order the physical copy of + though, definitely want to have a disc of that

In case anyone missed it, PlayStation classic for €30 in GameStop. If you order online there's no shipping cost.

At €30 it's cheaper than some cables I've bought.

    Couldn't resist at that price.

Oh well, give me an easy life and a peaceful death.

If anyone is looking for a really great Pro Sony LCD monitor, there's been an LMD 232W on adverts for an age now. Currently going for €70.

    https://www.adverts.ie/other-electronics/sony-professional-monitor-pvm-grade/14285745

It has BNC inputs. Exactly the same as the LMD I have connected to my PVM CRTs.

Comes with the stand too (I had to pay €50 or so alone for that)
