My current car... €18k 6 weeks ago. Worth it though :)

Aside from my car - it would be my watch. €5k - that was my wedding gift to myself.

My wife. Cost 25k or so.

Running costs vary by time of year.

Aside from the house and a bangernomics car I'd struggle to find a possession worth more than a couple of hundred quid tbh.

Laptop/tablet. I bought a surface pro with my redundancy money when I was travelling.

    Engagement ring for my ex.
I still have it, and as I already knew the resell value is about a third what it cost :getlost:
    2/10, wouldn't buy again.

    The house, obviously.

It cost a lot, but around €400k less than the guy next door paid for his.

    Its all about the timing.....

Just had a think and the answer is my phone, which is a bit mad isn't it..

Not counting the house or car, probably my watch about €3.5k. It's a beautiful marriage of precision engineering and artistry though.

Apart from my house and some jewellery, it would probably be my bed.

I wish I could say it was a campervan though. My uncle has a really cool one and heads off to France in it every year for a month or so. One day :)

My boat. Cost more than my house ffs. The joys of being 25 and addicted to the water. Never looked back, has changed our lifestyle so much for the better.

The running costs are the killer though...annual costs are on par with your average mortgage

Most expensive single purchases in order high to low
    Car(s)
    Motorbike(s)
    Engagement ring
    Computer(s)
    Phone(s)

Hopefully going to put a house on that list soon which will put the others to shame.

When you can say that, you know you have a nice house. :D

Wouldn't count my house as it will probably never be mine.

2 sofas each over 5k about 10 years ago, worth every penny. Still as comfortable as the day I bought them.

My collection. I won't say what it is but it's nothing sex related.

Aside from the car and gaff.
I bought the engagement ring for the wife, which is probably the best thing I've ever bought. Not alone for the price but I had picked up subtle clues about what her type would be, went off and got it, unbeknownst to her. We're 2 years married next week.
    To me that's priceless.

I was saving up for a Tag for myself for ages too, jokingly used to wind the wife up that I never got a watch as an engagement present. Finally had the cash for a Tag but we were a couple of grand short for the offer on our gaff. Threw it into the deposit instead. The OH landed a big new job early in the year, surprised me with the watch as a thank you.

So from the above ... it's my wife.

Beer belly, cost me literally thousands over the years. Thought I'd lost it when I went travelling, but it turned up once I got back. Must have put at least €80k into it. Which is quite scary when you think of it.

House - not mine for quite a few years (if ever)
    Cars
    Wifes engagement ring

My most expensive purchase would be buying my car. Next is paying for my braces.

I can't wait next year to zoom around in my flash* car showing off my flash newly straightened teeth. :D

*not even a little flash. I love it though
