    Can someone explain how you can get a social security number to work if your "undocumented", or is it the case that they work "off the books" so to speak?

    You use somebody else's social security number. Maybe somebody who got the green card and went back to Ireland for example.

    Why are they blaming Donald Trump for this. The people went there and stayed there illegally. Is that Trump's fault or is it their OWN fault?

    hahahahaha I wonder how long it took the radical left to fabricate this video ... f*ck off Joe ..

    edit - actually having watched the video it is genuine, but of course the BBC will focus on these small minority of supporters.

    If Trump got rid of all the illegals the US economy would collapse. I suspect there will be an amnesty for those with no criminal record and then strict rules after that.
    Well it's not just the illegals, it's also the HB1 visa scientists that are taking the jobs of Americans

    Much safer than Hillary in, that's for sure. I put the iodine tablets back in the attic last week, no need for them until Trumps out of power.

    I don't get all this sympathy for the illegal Irish in the US.

    They are illegal, they broke the rules to stay illegally in the country. Why should we all feel so bad for them?

    You can only get that visa (well at the time I had one anyway) if there's nobody within the US to fill that position, or there's a shortage in that particular area.

    edit, I just there to see what the requirements are these days
    A bachelor’s degree or higher degree or its equivalent is normally the minimum requirement for the particular position;
    The degree requirement is common for this position in the industry, or the job is so complex or unique that it can only be performed by someone with at least a bachelor's degree in a field related to the position;
    The employer normally requires a degree or its equivalent for the position; or
    The nature of the specific duties is so specialized and complex that the knowledge required to perform the duties is usually associated with the attainment of a bachelor's or higher degree.
    + How do I show that my degree is related to the specialty occupation?

    Some of the evidence you may submit to demonstrate that your degree is related to your position includes:

    A detailed explanation of the specific duties of the position, the product or service your company provides, or the complex nature of the role you will perform, and how your degree relates to the role.
    Written opinions from experts in the field explaining how the degree is related to the role you will perform.
    Printouts from online resources describing the degree fields normally associated with the occupation.
    Evidence that similar companies in your industry require similar degrees for similar positions.

    But.

    Until last year, she was able (required) to leave the US and return every 3 months. Something happened then that made that much more dodgy and her lawyer advised her to stay put.
