Storm seems to be easing a bit now. 1 length of sheeting blown off a shed so far.

No bother. Thought the power would go here too. Is the boss man out in the lorry. Dicey I'd say

No not out until later. A few lorries overturned in our area. One on the Boyne cable bridge.

Had a fence and some trees blown down, tiles off the roof too. I was awake from four til seven or that. Since we took down one hedge for GLAS my window gets an atrocious battering.

It was the worst I saw here in a long time. Just windy now

Fecking Doris. Took most of the fence right off! And part of the iron roof.

Slurry going out here, bit a rain last night but otherwise short showers of a minute r 2 today. Gusty more than windy. Feel for anyone who has damage due to the storm but nice to miss the brunt of it for once

Steady rain here in Cavan. After a week of showers, with land saturated, contractor came yesterday and rolled up his umbilical system and headed off to Longford and drier ground.
