Don't think we'll be seeing Tiger again till Sunday.

The wisdom of putting a fella with stress injury history out after a superhuman effort to win the TC has to be questioned.

Europeans making a meal of the tee shot on 18 in general

    edit...apart from Hatton :D

Huge from Tommy. Just need to square it on 17.

This could easily finish 4-0. And it wouldn't flatter the Americans either.

It would though. 3 of the matches could have gone either way so 4-0 would flatter America. Add in the finau fluke on 16 which turned that match..

Interesting tactics from Spieth and Thomoas there. Conceded Casey's putt so he wouldn't give Hatton the line.

McIlroy doesn’t give two shíts about the Ryder Cup. Nothing to do with decline - He’s always been like this

    Massive!
    Stenson
    Poulter
    García
Will all need to carry the burden in the foursomes.
Poor selection to put McIlroy back out.
Fleetwood & Molinari could be the inspired pairings to pull this out of the fire.

Well that's fair looking at this morning in isolation, bad start and never rose to the occasion

Realistically it should be 2-2, no way Rose & Rahm should have lost that match

I wasn’t being serious. He’s still as good as anyone out there. He just needs a few good holes in the afternoon

Impressive to have an overall winning record in that case so.

Tiger's awful Ryder cup record continues.

    he's never given a shít.

Europe should really be looking to win those foursomes 3-1 this afternoon.

at worst, they need to end the day 5-3. any worse, considering the pairings out this afternoon, and I don't hold out any hope for the rest of the weekend.

Ah that's nonsense. He's been a huge fan of it since his first outing at Celtic Manor. Said stupid things about it before then, but was big enough to call himself out on that.

I was surprised at the score.
I thought yanks were going to be 3.5 to 0.5 up after that session when I saw the draw.
But I thought Europe would take their half point from one of the first 2 pairings.
Fair play to Franny and Fleetwood that was a huge point.
Still can't see past the yanks closing this out comfortably

Still not having it though.. I get what you're saying but I don't see the motivation factor compared to a player like Poulter... Same idea for Woods.. This isn't the main event for them.. It is for Poulter

Casey not playing foursomes is baffling. I know he's 41 now but he was close to our best tee to green in the morning.

I’m very sceptical myself of Europe winning. I do think there is a chunk of light in the foursomes.
I expect Molinari:Fleetwood to bring the Texans to the 18th at the very least.
Also expecting García to lead with the driver and hope Noren catches fire like he can.
Stenson/Rose will put the first point away and it will be 4v4 today!

Thing is though if he wins matches it’s just natural talent, but when he loses - as they all do from time to time - it’s because he doesn’t give a sh!t. Just a lazy analysis really and almost certainly not accurate.
