Was there ever any talk of bringing more games to the PS+ Collection, or do ye think the 20 is our lot?

I'd say 20 was it. More of something for new PS5 owners to have to play rather than anything else I'd say.

Out of curiosity, I was looking back at the IGC games this year and of the 8 games for PS5 only, 4 were single player focused.

I guess multiplayer games are more willing to give them away for free to have a good chance at building a player base.

The multiplayer model is financially supported by in game purchases for skins and other cosmetic features (much more so than single player) so they can afford to give them away

Worst month ever, they're all **** games, i wanted Returnal.

I'm hoping to get a Boards Golf society going in 2K21 where someone picks a round with settings and everyone on the club can post their score before the deadline. Handy when you can't be online at the same time but still want to compete.

A solid month, I got pga for €20 a few months back and mk is part of the ps collection but good games. Anybody got an opinion on hell let loose?

It's an OK month. Looking forward to trying Hell Let Loose.

I don't think Returnal will be on there for a while; it's still fairly new and there's money to be made yet. Would be cool though.

Have MKX for ages, so no interest in that, even though I consider it better that 11 because of less MT's and stupid costume perks (iirc). Jesus they really messed up 11 with that crap. I'll give PGA a go, haven't played one since the Tiger Woods days back on the PS2/3. But I am interested in Hell Let Loose. A hardcore WW shooter. Should be different from CoD and BF at least, and in fairness, good win for PS+ there imo.

I'm tempted to try the golf one just to see what it's like. MKX is a great game, but surely anyone slightly interested in it already has it, plus it's the base version without all the dlc characters.

Mortal Kombat is great fun, bought it a good while back and put a good few hours into it.

Has anyone played Hell Let Loose on the PC? Just wondering if it's getting a good reception there. I reckon the Golf one will be like the Tennis game recently where I'll load it on to the PS4 and not play it before I eventually remove it to download the next PS game I'm not going to get the chance to play.

I'll be giving it a whirl anyway, it's military sim (allegedly) so couple of bullets and you dead. No running and gunning like BF/CoD apparently.

Started up Hell Let loose and when it pops you into the main menu it starts off playing a German military march about a hundred thousand bumblebees descending on a flower called Erika.

Played as US landing on beach and after winning we got treated to the US "over there "

Yeah, had a quick go of HLL, and it's not going to bring over any CoD fans anyway. Spent the first 5 minutes of the match just running, spawn was so far away from the action. Seems like it's pointless for solo play, squads are definitely needed. Not even sure if I killed anyone.

I'd say it plays like old COD, but definitely not like the current ones. I think it'll take from BF a decent bit.

There are spawn point things that can be put down but no one currently knows what they're doing and since there's not many high level players (lvl 10 ) there's no commander for most teams so no one playing fake company of heroes to help it.

Squad leaders can build outposts that let their squad spawn there, and also can build garrisons which let the whole team spawn there but garrisons take supplies so you either need Support class drop supply crates, or the trucks with the canopies on the back, or the Commander can air drop them.

You can look at your personal stats at the end, I was driving a tank and the MG for the driver doesn't have any scope or reticule or anything so real hard to aim so I shot a lot of bushes and really fucked up the ground and occasionally the sky. I got a few trophies that I didn't bother to look at until the end and it was for getting multiple kills in a single life so I was definitely occasionally hitting something.

Enemies do have a nice death animation more so than a lot of games. Helmets go flying for headshots, and there's large pops of blood for body shots.

You'd pretty much want to play with in-game chat, there's proximity, Squad, and command.
