I thought Dana was Maryse in that backstage skit with Elias. Was wondering what was going on.

I thought it was Lana

Weird Rene stays silent when they talk about her husband's actions

That last segment with the 4 lads was so horrendously bad, just rubbish

    Embarrassing.

It's probably the best way to handle it

If she backs Dean it's a bit hypocritical since she's usually against any heels actions, if she's against Dean she's against her bloody husband so there's no real to win when she's on commentary

So are we expecting Becky on Raw tonight? Definitely seems she'd make the first move?

Be interesting to see the response she would get from the Raw crowd.

    She'll get a good reaction, I'd say.

And time changed over there at the weekend so back to usual start time this week

Huge response. Ronda is on the verge of being booed Reigns style. People are totally fed up of babyfaces apparently being given everything by Vince.

Really? I don't see it that way at all. I think fans still like her. Might be a bit mixed against Becky but anyone else and Ronda would get cheered. Possibly Sasha being mixed too.

She'll be where she's needed. Could be something prerecorded

Bayley, Sasha and Natalya vs The Riott Squad tonight. I swear they've had that match half a dozen times already over the last 2-3 months.

Multi person matches make sense for the tour I suppose, pity it's being done on Raw too though

I see where back to Strowman been let loose backstage

    Nattie is a terrible actress

Another NXT Alumni win main roster gold

AOP are the new raw tag team champs winning it off Seth Rollins

ANgle is one of my all time favourites and is one the greatest of all time but he really really shouldn’t be wrestling anymore. That match tonight was painful to watch and sadly, his time in the ring has passed

The story of Angle vs Drew was phenomenal, I thought. The ending was great, Drew looked incredible and the story of "Old Man Kurt" heading towards Mania is an interesting one.

I still see Ronda as superover but she can't be a babyface if she's going to turn on a threatening manner in every promo

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,611 ✭✭✭✭ERG89

Drew is the Alexa Bliss of the men just constantly overpushed.
Angle is years past an acceptable physical level now; this was obvious at TLC last October. He moves like he is in constant agony.
Its not old man Kurt now its sad, pathetic Kurt. Like a few others around 50 he should pack it in but there has been a renaissance for some of watching feable old men work bad matches.

I would not say he is overpushed at all personally. Maybe he was pushed early as the chosen one but this is a former 3MB member here who looks like an absolute beast, he deserves the Jinder treatment far more than his former cohort for example (not that you were making a Jinder point in anyway).

Rollins deserved the you sold out chants because he joined the Authority, Ambrose didn't do anything else except attack Rollins, don't know why he's getting you sold out chants

On Drew getting a big push, I personally didn't see anything in him for a long time and never got what people were on about saying he could be a top guy. But eff me does he look badass now with that gowling stare and the hair in his eyes, the claymore is a hell of a finisher too

Also Alexa dressed as a manager :D

Justifying booking by comparing to Jinder ain't exactly much; the only people who thought that was a good idea was the company & it took them far too much time to come to that conclusion.
He's been super protected & has now beaten most big names on Raw bar Braun, Brock & Roman. I'm actually surprised he hadn't beaten Braun yet considering the miserable booking of him since he turned.
Don't see much in him as a main eventer; even main eventing NXT he felt bland. But I'm sure Vince will give him every chance like he did with Jinder & to less of an extent Corbin.

I think that was the final nail in the coffin of Finn ever being considered a top guy again.

Agree that Drew was bland in NXT but he is one of the very few who have stepped up massively on the main roster. Similar to Elias, nothing in NXT and now a star on Raw.

AOP to now disappear off our screens again for the next few months.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,846 ✭✭✭SureYWouldntYa

When Drew was in NXT he was just another hottest free agent guy, for the most points the guys who preceeded him as NXT champion were all like that in NXT, looking back KO was the last champion there for me who's character wasn't just shiny new toy

From Balor to Joe to Nakamura to Roode to McIntyre was all guys who got the gold within months of debut aside from Joe, and looking back all they had was hype

Now though he's being given some proper booking, it's genuinely seems like there's some thought and logic going into how he's being presented and he's shining in that part for me, where he is going into Wrestlemania season will determine whether it's worthwhile for me but like Strowman last year he could end up pushed aside because of legends as well as 20 minute Triple H entrances and 40 minute matches

Finn was done in Vince's eyes the day he got injured.

They should have moved him to Smackdown and Feud with AJ Styles.

Not just Styles. Finn would be great with Bryan, Rey, Jeff, Cesaro, Sheamus.

Its so laughably obvious he's a Smackdown guy, rather than a "Land of the monsters" Raw guy.

AoP should have squashed Rollins. I know they wanted make Rollins look strong, but the tag champs being a team that struggled to win a handicap match is not a good thing.

Aye. Rollins clotheslining one of them over the top rope without a sweat summed things up. Best not to think about it too much.
