Problem is that the ratings or apathetic response to the shows literally mean nothing to a publically traded company when they have the new TV deals and foreign "super shows" that are guaranteed money for doing very little work.

Ronda's promo was OK....seemed hesitant and heart wasn't quite in it.

I really enjoyed Ronda's promo myself, but i just hope its not leading to her losing the title, that last security guard, really really over sold rondas beat down, lol

I am enjoying the Angle Corbin feud and Elias needs a push

Bliss is reminding me of Avril Lavigne

Ronda was wearing an earpiece I’m guessing Vince was shouting down the Cena lines to her.

That might explain why see seemed nervous.

Over all I though she did a decent job with it.

I didnt notice the ear piece but to me it sounded like she was remembering her lines and when to use them hence why she sounded like she was struggling, like i said i enjoyed it, nice to hear some "reality" in a promo for a change which brings me to the promo with lita, trish, alexa, and mickie james, that was was terrible, and im not sure why they keep hinting at the ages of lita and trish when they're still wheeling out undertaker, Triple H, and the boys, makes no sense, but sure thats the norm there lately

Maybe it was her cauliflower ears and not an earpiece I was noticing.

It's OK for men can be old and over/under weight in the WWE for women if they aren't a certain size and age they are free game for Vince and his gang to make fun of. #BeAStar.

Speaking of ear pieces, Lio Rush has become significantly less entertaining since he started wearing one.

"LOOK AT THE SIZE OF HIM! SMELL HIM!"

Silly yeah. Makes them look "weak" etc too.

Those women are 10 years + younger than Taker and HBK.

I enjoy when the mask truly slips like that to be fair.

I thought that Bellas Ronda segment was tremendous. The crowd were hot for it too which helped it hugely

Were they hinting at the age or just the fact they've been away from the ring so long? Would be stupid considering Mickie's age, which was pointed out by Alexa during their feud. But at least it was nice of the Iiconics to give them material to use.

But we're missing the biggest news of the night: The return of not only Tamina, but the other Singh brother!
    Oh and Sasha

They wouldn't make cancer an angle....would they?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,339 ✭✭✭✭PTH2009

    This is shocking

Best of luck to Roman. Looking at him you would never guess he had that disease. Best of luck too him

Sweet baby jaysus, poor fella. Presume people knew he fought it before. Some gobsh¡te in the crowd asking him to sign his sign for him... Surprised they put that on tv. Hope he beats it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,352 ✭✭✭✭J. Marston

Don't know very much about it but from what you hear, it's supposed to be one of the more treatable cancers.

All the best to him. Will be quite a sombre show now, I'd say.

Unbelievable Cancer is a scourge on modern day society, Hope he kicks Cancer's ass

That will really throw a spanner in the main event scene for the WWE, Interesting to see where they go from here

Ok so the universal title is vacated

    Who should get it ???

I'd give it one of Drew Mcintrye or Braun Strowman

The shield reunions are deff cursed

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,339 ✭✭✭✭PTH2009

Who would of guessed on screen acting gm Corbin would have too sort out something as big as a vacated universal title ???

Sad to say but all the past Reigns rivilarys will be somewhat sweep under the rug and hopefully when he comes back will be a brand new guy

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,288 ✭✭✭Virtanen

Is that really important right now? How it affects the story?

    Come on

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,339 ✭✭✭✭PTH2009

Some mayor Kane wishing death on people lol

Hard to call really but have a sneaky feeling somebody's turning and will cost there team the match. Getting this rivilary in 2018 Is still hard it to believe

Ambrose is unhinged again, who actually cares at this stage, he just like Orton to me now.

On the plus side, Elias is still great and now we can officially cheer him.

In terms of "the show must go on", I'll use this topic to discuss the creative ramifications.

It was interesting seeing the creative panic and reshuffling up and down the show. Brawn flips face, Ambrose flips heel. Ellias flips face. Finn gets a big win.

The last 5 years have revolved round one thing; getting Roman over.

It will be utterly fascinating now to see what directions creative goes. Who fills that void?

LOVED the Ambrose turn. It was the one night, the one moment, they could do it and catch people off guard. The manner in which they did it absolutely nails down the face/heel dynamic too.
