Wouldn't be surprised if they kept Reigns away from this crowd tonight

A singles run lined up for Jeff by the looks of it.

Jesus WWE really do themselves no favours sometimes. Miz announces he wants a title rematch at Backlash, literally 3 minutes later they air an ad saying he'll be in a 4 way IC title ladder match (including apparently a returning Samoa Joe, which they also spoil) at the event in Saudi Arabia that takes place a week beforehand, guess we know who's winning that match!

Why would Finn challenge Rollins again so quickly for the IC title when he never bothered looking for his Universal title rematch? Makes no sense

It also begs the question, the draft/shake up is going to be next week, does that mean that within 2 weeks of a draft we're going to have multiple inter-brand matches at both Greatest Royal Rumble and then Backlash? Seriously...greatest roster they've arguable have ever had and they manage to make a mess of almost everything including Mania. Creatively this company is in a bad way!

Have a feeling this will happen in the shake up

To Raw- Ko/Zayn, Baron Corbin, Usos, Becky, Orton, Jinder Mahel (with us title)

To SD- Finn Balor, Seth Rollins (with IC title), Elias, Matt Hardy/Bray Wyatt, Sasha Banks, The Revival, Kane

The GRR is a glorified house show with some bigger names on the card

Yeah thought so too. Looked a bit better than she did in those relentless ads for her movie too.

Coach is such a fcuking idiot on commentary it does my head in. If you’re going to make so many football references at least get it right like JBL ffs. I don’t think they chant in English at Spanish footballs games Coach.

I felt bad for her for that ad, whoever edited it really made her look foolish with the awkward pause at the start before she starts speaking. While she was at times a bit of a tortured soul and her own worst enemy ultimately i feel quite sorry for Paige. Never probably reached her true potential but she should have had a much longer career and really did seem to love wrestling. Hopefully she can get cleared in the future.

So Lashley is not going to the main event scene straight away

    The man is a beast

His music was very generic. God, WWE needs Jim Johnston back ASAP.

Wow. Didn’t expect a TNA mention ever on Raw.

Good to see AOP up but all these debuts/returns is overkill

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,402 ✭✭✭Deeper Blue

    Slater is great

I was wondering what they’d do with Paul Ellering as he’s not going to do a full time schedule. Looks like they’re setting it up for them to dump him.

Judging from how much they're plugging it tonight and we're likely to see a World title change at it and a lot of the promos tonight have been centred around it I'd say it's a bit more than a glorified house show like "Beast In The East" was.

The UK really needs a show like the GRR and BITE and I'll be there if it happens

Why would they bother making a documentary about that awful, awful Raw 25 show
