If you give an extra fiver, it's worth nothing. If you take away a fiver, it's an enourmous sum?

They will likely add 50 cent to a pack of cigs and claw back €3.50 of the €5 from the pack a dayers.

Was that John from Cark masquerading as 'Vincent'?

I'm sure it was. Unless there's a Vincent, who said himself he's been talking to Joe for years, who sounds identical, that we somehow have all managed to miss over the years?

Got to laugh at these moaners complaining about the five euro increase and how it you can't buy anything for that etc etc.

If it was a five euro decrease the five euro magically morphs into something that keeps the show on the road!!

There really is no pleasing these people.

'sake lads, what ice cream are you buying? Over the weekend I bought my daughter a cone, coated in chocolate and sprinkles, with a big lump of ice cream topped off by a flake, for €2.60. Had I got a regular cone I would have got 2 for a fiver.

"No man is worth €3,000 a week".

Well that explains why John is 'Vincent' today, he wants to get back on the show at some stage.

    €90 for her telephone bill.

Well jesus change your tariff FFS and don't expect the state to have to pay in excess of what you can be getting it for.
